ABSTRACT
Analisar as concepções dos psicólogos a respeitodo transtorno autista e descrever como é realizado otratamento das crianças autistas e de seus familiaresatendidos no espaço de saúde mental pública. Material eMétodos: A pesquisa foi realizada no município de CampinaGrande, Paraíba, Brasil, no Centro de Atenção PsicossocialInfantil - CAPSi. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa,exploratória, analítica e descritiva, da qual participaram 07psicólogas, que responderam a um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado.Resultados: Na análise sobre o autismo infantilforam identificadas as seguintes categorias: transtornoinvasivo do desenvolvimento; transtorno psíquico originadodo vínculo mãe/bebê e transtorno invasivo do desenvolvimento,com causa orgânica, bem como causa atribuídaà relação mãe/bebê. No tocante ao tratamento, foram destacados:Oficinas terapêuticas; Atividades lúdicas; Consultasindividuais; Atendimentos em grupo e Acompanhamentofamiliar sistemático. Conclusão: Nas falas dos informantes,percebe-se que as concepções sobre o autismo infantilvariam, no entanto são concepções embasadas em postuladospsicanalíticos. To analyze psychologists conceptions regardingthe autistic disorder and to describe how is carried out thetreatment of the autistic children and their familiar onessupported in the space of public mental health. With regards to treatment, are evidenced:Therapeutic workshops; Playful activities; Individualconsultations; in group and systematic familiar follow up.Conclusion: Through the informants statements, it is clearthat conceptions of autism vary, however they are based onpsychoanalytic postulates.
