Childhood vesicolithiasis in Hazara division of N.W.F.P. Pakistan

100 children up-to 5 years of age, from various hospitals of Hazara Division with vesicolithiasis were included in this study. This study was carried out from January 1990 to December 1992. A similar number of age and sex matched normal children as control group were also studied. The highest incidence was between 1-3 years of age [44%]. Almost all cases were reported in males. Most of the cases belonged to low socio-economic class. Dehydration seemed to be an important etiological factor.
