ABSTRACT

Fifty Iraqi female patients were treated for persistent recurrent candidiasis. All of them had several previous treatment with different types of antifungal drugs. ABSTRACT

A new design heated head for electrocautery has been made especially for cervical lesion treatment. The new head design can treat the exocervix as well as exo-endocervix extensively with one touch only. Results obtained from 100 patints treated with this probe on an out patient basis have shown a remarkable success rate of 95% from the first treatment, and 99% overall success after re-treatment sessions

ABSTRACT

A new procedure for fertilization has been developed for artificial insemination. The technique is aided with a curved cannula able to be inserted transvaginaly into the uterotubal junction. The insertion procedure is carried out by blind method or under ultrasound. Semen is injected through this cannula to be in direct contact with the ovum/ova. Results have revealed 66% successful rate among patients who had no success with any of known insemination techniques

ABSTRACT

A cauterization method has been employed to treat cases of unexplained cervical hostilily. The procedure is considered to be new as a new design for cautery was used. The cautery wire was designed especially for cervical treatment. Results revealed pregnancy in 48% of patients who had several types of treatment with no success. This is believed to be attributed to extensive erradication of cervical epithelium which in turn, may cause the disappearance of the hostile factor

ABSTRACT

The viable pregnancy outcome has been improved when an intrauterine device was inserted few days post metroplasty for 6-12 months. Eight out of ten patients [who had no successful pregnancy] achieved viable pregnancy. The increase in the viable pregnancy outcome Is believed to be caused by the increase in uterine micro-contractility and the prevention of adhesions, which lead to an increase in the uterine capacity to bear a full term fetus
