ABSTRACT

We review in our work the results obtained by Tunisia in its human development and reproductive health policies. It is obvious that these policies have been successful by and large and the consequences are already felt with their impact on the quality of life in our country. Two reasons for this success: The first one are the legal and social measures taken by the political leaders in the field of population and its growth control. The second is the responsiveness and the maturity of the population itself which made it possible for these political decisions to obtain the support and the approval of several generations of Tunisians
