A adolescência marca o encontro do instinto sexual da puberdade com as fantasias da sexualidade infantil. O corpo do adolescente é o local desse encontro que reabre enigmas e convoca o adolescente à difícil tarefa de tradução. Apoiados na teoria tradutiva de Laplanche, buscamos apontar, na leitura do romance O apanhador no campo de centeio, os recursos e as alegorias de tradução do sexual disponíveis. A simbolização da pulsão sexual parece ser sempre incompleta, mesmo com as tentativas de simbolização. O corpo do adolescente é o objeto-fonte de pulsão que traz incessantemente à tona enigmas, reconduzindo o adolescente ao incansável trabalho de tradução.

Adolescence marks the encounter of puberty’s sexual instinct with childhood sexual fantasies. The body of the adolescent is the place where this encounter takes place, reopening enigmas and summoning the adolescent to the difficult task of translation. Based on Laplanche’s theory of translation, we intend to indicate, by reading the novel The Catcher in Rye, the available resources and allegories of translation of the sexual. The symbolization of the sexual drive seems to be always incomplete, despite all symbolization attempts. The body of the adolescent is the drive’s source-object that incessantly brings out enigmas, leading the adolescent back to the untiring task of translation.
