ABSTRACT
This paper demonstrated a direct relationship between the extent of a compatible inhibition of xylose and galactose on the same position of poly-N-acetyllactosamine chain [PL] synthesized by Chinese hamster ovary cells. These cells were treated by the exogenous acceptors in media containing [63-H] galactose and [23-H] mannose. It was found that there were no changes occurred in the glycopeptide chains at either radioactive mannose or galactose
