Introducción: La práctica de la adecuación del esfuerzo terapéutico, como decisión médica, se basa predominantemente en el pronóstico de una muerte que es inevitable y evidente a corto plazo, más que sobre el resto de los otros criterios o factores posibles a considerar. Objetivo: Resaltar la necesidad de recuperar el modelo tradicional de la muerte en el domicilio para los enfermos terminales(AU)
Introduction: The practice of therapeutic effort adaptation, as a medical decision, is mostly based on the prognosis of a death that is inevitable and evident in the short term, more than on the rest of the other criteria or possible factors to be considered.
