ABSTRACT
Relata-se o caso de um paciente com ureter retrocava, diagnosticado inicialmente em exame de urografia excretora e confirmado com tomografia computadorizada do abdome. A tomografia computadorizada torna-se necessária não apenas para confirmar a posição do ureter em relação à veiacava inferior, como também para excluir outras doenças que cursam com hidronefrose, pois hidronefrose é o principal achado do ureter retrocava sintomático.
The authors report a case of a patient with retrocaval ureter found out in an excretory urography and confirmed with abdominal computerized tomography. The computerized tomography is necessary to confirm the position of the ureter and to exclude other diseaseswhich are associated with hydronefrosis, the main imaging finding,when there is a symptomatic retrocaval ureter.

O aspecto ultra-sonográfico dos hamartomas dos ductos biliares pode variar, sendo importante reconhecer suas diferentes formas de apresentação, para que possam ser lembrados no diagnóstico diferencial de lesões focais hepáticas. Neste trabalho, os autores apresentam um caso desta afecção em que foram identificados inúmeros nódulos hiperecogênicos dispersos pelo parênquima hepático, com os maiores atingindo 1,6 cm, sem produzir reverberação sonora posterior.
Sonographic presentation of bile duct hamartomas is variable. It is important to recognize their different forms of presentation in order to be included in the differential diagnosis of multiple focal hepatic lesions. Herein the authors report a case of bile duct hamartomas that was identified as multiple diffuse hyperechogenic liver nodules with the largest measuring 1.6 cm, without posterior acoustic reverberation.
