ABSTRACT

Este estudo objetivou compreender as relações familiares intergeracionais apresentadas no desenho animado Peppa Pig; identificar as temáticas dos episódios que envolvem o relacionamento entre avós, pais e netos e; averiguar as principais atividades desenvolvidas entre eles. Analisaram-se por meio da técnica de Bardin (1977/2000) 41 episódios da primeira, segunda e terceira temporada que tinham a participação dos avós Pig. Constatou-se que foram destacadas as relações favoráveis e neutras entre avós, pais e netos. As principais temáticas abordadas pelos episódios analisados foram: brincar no jardim; passeio no barco; comemorações em família; passeios de carro; passeio em família; aprender com os avós; tomar conta do papagaio; tomar conta dos netos e passeio com a escola. Os tipos de atividades intergeracionais mais desenvolvidas foram brincar e aprender no jardim. O desenho apresenta um modelo de família tradicional com bom funcionamento e mostra estereótipos semelhantes à realidade da maioria das famílias ocidentais.(AU)


This study aimed to understand the intergenerational family relationships presented in the cartoon Peppa Pig; identify the themes of the episodes involving the relationship between grandparents, parents and grandchildren and; determine the main activities developed between them. They were analyzed through Bardin technique (1977/2000) 41 episodes of the first, second and third season that had the participation of Pig grandparents. It was found that were highlighted favorable and neutral relationships between grandparents, parents and grandchildren. The main themes addressed by episodes analyzed were playing in the garden; ride on the boat; family celebrations; carriage rides; family trip; learn from grandparents; take parrot account; taking care of grandchildren and ride to school. The types of more developed intergenerational activities were playing and learning in the garden. The design features a traditional family model with proper functioning and shows stereotypes similar to the reality of most western families.(AU)
