ABSTRACT
Author remembers that Bible and Talmud tell that a three year and one day old girl could get married with father`s consent. Intercourse with children was a civil offense. Offender could be forgiven if pays compensations. However Bible prohibed to a woman to be seduceable without her father´s consent. Lack of women independence, legal tolerance toward rapist and irresponsible father are a historical legacy that explains current sexual abuse against girls, in author`s opinion.
