ABSTRACT

The present study established the ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS) method for simultaneous determination of the content of eight major active components in Caesalpinia decapetala and performed the quality evaluation of C. decapetala from different habitats with the chemical pattern recognition. The analysis was carried out on a Waters BEH C_(18) column(2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.7 μm) at 40 ℃, with the mobile phase of water containing 0.1% formic acid(A) and acetonitrile containing 0.1% formic acid under gradient elution, the flow rate of 0.3 mL·min~(-1), and the injection volume of 1 μL. The electrospray ionization(ESI) source in the negative mode and multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) were used for MS quantitative analysis. The content results were analyzed by the hierarchical cluster analysis(HCA) and principal component analysis(PCA) for the evaluation of the quality difference. Eight components showed good linear relationships within their respective concentration ranges(r>0.999), with the average recoveries of 96.85%-103.4% and RSD of 0.52%-2.8%. The analysis results showed that the quality of samples from different batches was different. The samples were classified into three clusters by HCA and PCA. The method is simple, sensitive, accurate, and efficient, and can be used for the quality evaluation of C. decapetala.

ABSTRACT

The fixed number package management of medical consumables is an important content of SPD management mode. In the process of medical low-value consumables management, hospitals are generally faced with the problems of frequent access and low matching between push quantity and actual use quantity, resulting in complicated access operations of medical staff, shortage or hoarding of consumables and so on. In order to reduce the times of taking and using consumables and improve the comfort of medical staff, the authors dynamically adjusted the content and push quantity of fixed number packages according to the historical use data. The results showed that the adjusted fixed number setting could significantly reduce the average daily access times of medical staff, and reduce the probability of out of stock and hoarding.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To summarize the scientific research management response strategies and practices of designated hospitals under the prevention and control of new coronary pneumonia, provide reference for the scientific and technological management of public health emergencies in domestic hospitals. Methods:Take the hospital scientific research management response under the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in 2020 as an example, discuss and summarize the response strategies and mechanism establishment, work practice and existing problems of designated hospitals in the research management of prevention and control of public health emergencies represented by COVID-19 from the aspects of management system, resource integration, project operation, and scientific and technological service. Results:As a designated hospital of COVID-19 in Beijing, Youan hospital has actively carried out scientific and technological research on epidemic prevention and control while successfully completing patient treatment, established a scientific and efficient scientific and technological research management system, and integrated resources to form an efficient project operation mechanism, Providing a full range of scientific management services, providing policy and material guarantee for the rapid and high-quality completion of scientific and technological research on epidemic prevention and control. Conclusions:The scientific and technological research on public health emergencies has the characteristics of demand-driven, focused on key points, collaborative research, scientific decision-making, In order to carry out the research work smoothly, it is particularly important to form a benign interaction, straighten out the system, do a good job in long-term planning and layout, and establish a scientific and efficient research and management mechanism.

ABSTRACT

In this study, 1 065 infants and young children aged 24 months below in ethnic minorities gathering in poor rural areas in poor rural areas of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province and Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province were investigated for their anemia status from October to November 2014, and the association between anemia and the utilization of maternal and child health services was analyzed. The prevalence of anemia in this area was 52.68%(561/1 065). After the adjustment of socio-demographic characteristics of mothers and infants, compared with infants aged 2-5 months, Han ethnic group, and infants whose mother was not anemic, the OR(95%CI) values of infant anemia for infants aged 6-12 months, 13-8 months, 19-24 months, ethnic minorities group, and infants whose mother was anemic were 11.65 (7.09-19.14), 9.91 (5.99-16.38), 5.87 (3.39-10.16), 1.55 (1.10-2.18) and 1.52 (1.14-2.04), respectively; Compared with infants whose child examination times not up to standard, and who were not only non-hospital delivered but also received inadequate number of inoculation, the OR (95%CI) values of infant anemia for infants whose child examination times up to standard, and who were not only hospital delivered but also received adequate number of inoculation were 0.60 (0.38-0.94) and 0.71 (0.52-0.98), respectively. The infants anemia is associated with the utilization of maternal and child health services.

ABSTRACT

With the rising detection rate of strains with extensive drug resistance clinically, there is an increasingly urgent need of novel anti-microbial agents. More and more researchers put emphasis on bacteriophage therapy and have made great progress in this field. A large number of studies showed that some bacteriophages could produce enzymes which killed the host bacteria by degrading polysaccharides in their extracellular polymeric substances (EPS). This review introduces the classification of phage polysaccharide depolymerases and their action mode, the methods to determine whether the phage produces depolymerases, and their applications in anti-bacterial treatment, biofilm degradation and bacterial capsule typing.
