Objective: Studying the relationship between the polymorphism of the apolipoprotein E(ApoE) gene and patients of hypertension. Methods: Using apolipoprotein E (ApoE) gene as a candidate gene, the ApoE gene genotype was determined in 70 patients with hypertension and 59 healthy subjects were studied by the polymerized chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).
