ABSTRACT

This study was aimed to discuss the influence of specific acupoint acupuncture therapy to the serum angiogenesis factor of high fat diet obese mouse models. Mice were randomly divided into the blank control group , acupuncture control group , model control group , and acupuncture treatment group . There were 6 mice in each group . Obese mouse models were induced after 15-week high fat diet . The specific acupoint acupunc-ture therapy was used as an intervention treatment method for 10 days . The enzyme-linked immunosorbent as-say (ELISA) was used in the detection of serum insulin, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), soluble vascular endothelial growth factor receptor , leptin and the level of nitric oxide in mice . The results showed that the serum insulin , nitric oxide and leptin level in the obese mouse models were increased . However , there were no obvious changes on the vascular endothelial growth factor and soluble vascular endothelial growth fac-tor receptor level . The specific acupoint acupuncture therapy can obviously reduce the level of serum nitric ox-ide and leptin, and improve the content of vascular endothelial growth factor in obese mouse models. However, there were no influence on the level of blood glucose and soluble vascular endothelial growth factor receptor . It was concluded that the specific acupoint acupuncture therapy method had preferable antiobesity action . Its mechanism of action may be related to the regulation of angiogenesis .

ABSTRACT

C-arm based surgical navigation system is a kind of computer assisted surgery (CAS) system. In this paper, key techniques concerning this kind of system are presented. The key techniques mainly include XRII image distortion correction and C-arm imaging system calibration. On this basis, we designed relevant tools and made them fabricated, and developed a software system. Experimental results of human fresh spine sample showed that with the surgical navigation system, screw insertion accuracy was much higher than that without the surgical navigation system.

ABSTRACT

GlyoxalaseⅠthat presents in all human tissues detoxifies α-oxoaldehydes and prevents the formation of advanced glycation end products(AGEs).AGEs and their main precursor namely methylglyoxal(MG)produce cytotoxicity and have extensive relationship with diabetic complications. Therefore,to elevate glyoxalaseⅠactivity may be a new path to release such complications.

ABSTRACT

A surgical navigation system based on X-rays of C-arm with a calibration target has been studied and developed. Extracting images of markers in the two templates on the calibration target, the system is able to establish the relationship between different markers coordinates in different coordinate systems using the algorithm based on the layout of specific markers. The correction of X-ray image distortion and C-arm camera calibration are performed using the images of calibration target as bases. After the parameters of the C-arm projection model being determined, an X-ray image of surgical site will be acquired preoperatively; the surgical instruments will be tracked by the optical position system, and then virtual projections of instruments can be formed on preoperative images. Surgeons will perform operations with the guidance of the system. The C-arm can be used less frequently and the X-ray radiation can be reduced. Cadaveric spine specimen experiments and error analysis have underpinned the clinical feasibility of the system.

ABSTRACT

Glyoxalase system,a most effective defence system is present in cytosol of cells to scavenge ?-oxoaldehydes,which are reactive intermediates of AGEs formation.Glyoxalase Ⅰ is the key enzyme of this system.?-oxoaldehydes and AGEs are involved in the development of Alzheimer′s disease (AD). Therefore, the expression level and activity of glyoxalase I are essential to pathogenesis of AD.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To prepare bifunction antibody of anti-human laryngocarcinoma/anti-CD 3 for the active immune therapy of laryngocarcinoma. Methods:To corss link monoclonal antibody of anti-human laryngocarcinoma and anti-CD 3 into bifunction antibody by chemical method, which can guide the killer function on carcinoma cells. Results:The killer rate of effector cells guided by bifunction antibody is higher than that of anti-CD 3 which can arise with the elevation of effect target ratio. Conclusion:Bifunction antibody of anti-human laryngocarcinoma/anti-CD 3 prepared by chemical cross linking method has the potential value for clinical application.
