ABSTRACT

Objective@#To study the clinical efficacy of Qixie-Huoxue-Tongluo decoction combined with ozagrel sodium injection in treatment of cerebral thrombosis.@*Methods@#According to the random number table method, 91 cerebral thrombosis patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into the control group (45 cases) and the study group (46 cases). The control group was treated with ozagrel sodium injection on the basis of routine treatment, while the study group was treated with Qixie-Huoxue-Tongluo decoction on the basis of the control group. The two groups were treated for 7 days. The National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)was used to assess the degree of neurological impairment, the Activity of Daily Living (ADL) was used to assess the quality of life; and the levels of MDA, SOD, NO, neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and neuronal protein (S-100β)were detected by ELISA.The clinical efficacy was evaluated.@*Results@#The total effective rate was 93.5% (43/46) in the study group and 71.1% (32/45) in the control group, there was significant difference between the two groups (χ2=7.853, P=0.005). After treatment, the NIHSS score in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (16.1 ± 5.0 vs. 20.3 ± 5.3; t=3.889, P<0.01), and the ADL score in the study group (51.9 ± 9.3 vs. 45.3 ± 8.6, t=3.461) was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.01); the serum level of MDA (3.10 ± 0.48 mmol/L vs. 4.25 ± 0.76 mmol/L, t=11.427) and NO (41.14 ± 6.74 U/L vs. 62.20 ± 8.43 U/L, t=10.028) in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01), the SOD (204.36 ± 21.29 vs. 163.39 ± 17.45, t=13.177) level in the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.01); the serum NSE (4.85 ± 1.03 μg/L vs. 7.93 ± 1.14 μg/L, t=13.529) and S-100β protein (0.18 ± 0.03 μg/L vs. 1.02 ± 0.15 μg/L, t=37.232) levels in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01).@*Conclusions@#Qixie-Huoxue-Tongluo decoction combined with ozagrel sodium injection can improve the degree of neurological impairment in patients with cerebral thrombosis, improve the quality of life clinical efficacy. And the mechanism may be related to inhibition of lipid peroxidation, anti-free radicals and so on.

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the cognition of patients with anxiety disorder and their inner experience and disease, and provide reference and basis for making more perfect health education. Methods A group of 38 patients with hospitalized anxiety were interviewed by collective focus interview. The interview was conducted by using the team skill training model to create a pleasant atmosphere. Results Five subjects of periods were identified, including the denial period of disease, the period of inner pain, the period of worrying about side effects of drugs, and the expectation period of disease cure. Conclusions The lack of awareness of disease and the desire for disease-related knowledge are very urgent. Through this study, we understand the psychological characteristics and needs of some patients with anxiety, and explore a set of patients who are suitable for anxiety of the mission model to provide some reference.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate early diagnostic value of quantitative analysis of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in acute radiation-induced liver injury. Methods Sixty female rats were divided into two groups:50 rats in an experimental group (model group) and 10 rats in a negative control group. The rats in model group were radiated with stereotactic single dose of 20Gy on their liver to establish acute radiationinduced liver injury models. Each 10 rats from model groups and 2 rats from control group were randomly selected and underwent CEUS and histopathological examination on the 3,7,14,21,28 days after radiation. The degree of injury was classified into four groups according to pathological grading:non-injured group, mild injured group, moderated injured group and severe injured group. The dynamic images of CEUS were off-line analysis and the parameters of arrival time of contrast agent to hepatic artery (HAAT),the arrival time of contrast agent to hepatic vein (HVAT),and the transit time of hepatic artery-hepatic vein (HAHVTT) were recorded.Time intensity curve (TIC) of liver parenchyma drawn by the software of quantitative analysis was used to obtain quantitative parameters including time to peak (TTP) and peak intensity (PI).Results Along with the severity degree of radiation-induced liver injury, the quantitative parameters,PI decreased while TTP extended.PI of mild injured group, moderated injured group and severe injured group were lower than that of non-injured group (P <0.05).TTP of the three liver injuried groups was higher than non-injured group (P <0.05).The quantitative parameters HA-HVTT of moderated injured group and severe injured group were decreased than the non-injured group (P <0.05),whereas the difference between mild injured group and non-injured group was not significant. Conclusions Quantitative analysis of CEUS can provide a certain value for early diagnosis in acute radiation-induced liver injury.

ABSTRACT

Objective To assess the efficacy of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for the ablation of feeding-artery in uterine fibroids. Methods A total of 45 women with uterine fibroids who had children accepted HIFU treatment.Color Doppler and contrast-enhanced ultrasound were used to target the supply vessels entered the fibroid.HIFU treatment was focused primarily on locations where supplying vessels entered the fibroid.Conventional ultrasound, color Doppler ultrasound,contrast-enhanced ultrasound and MRI were performed before and after HIFU treatment to observe the changes of imaging. Results After HIFU treatment, the volume of uterine fibroids decreased to certain extent. The blood signals decreased or disappeared in the treated regions.Bewteen two groups of the uterine fibroids diamete ≥5 cm and <5 cm,there were significant differences in the percentage of the nonperfusion regions in the volume of uterine fibroids (≥70%,P <0.05).Conclusions Ablation of feeding artery by HIFU is an effective treatment for the uterine fibroids.HIFU treatment is effective for the ablation of feeding-artery in uterine fibroids whose diameter less than 5 cm.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the feasibility of contrast-enhanced ultrasound-directed nosejujunium tube placement. Methods Twenty-four patients hospitalized in ICU who need support from enteral feeding were collected for this study.Flocare spiral nose-jejunium tube was placed into stomach with guide wire.Real-time ultrasound was used after injection of SonoVue for monitoring the passage of feeding tube from pylorus to duodenum-jejunum segment which was pushed down if without strong resistant force.Finnally, the guide wire was drawed out and enteral feeding was conducted with ascertainment of abdominal X-ray photograph for suitable site in intestinal tract. Results Contrast ultrasound -directed nose-jejunum tube placement procedure was conducted in 24 cases.Twenty-one cases (87.5%) was accomplished successfully, and 3 cases (12.5%) was failed. No special change was observed in the procedure of all patients. Conclusions Contrast ultrasound -directed nose-jejunum tube placement procedure can be regarded as a convenient, safe, and reliable insertion technology, which provide an effective means for early enteral nutrition for critical patients.
