ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the establishment and improvement of work system for clinical pharmacist in PIVAS of our province even the country. METHODS:Questionnaire was conducted to investigate the PIVAS directors in the 65 third-grade class A hospitals in China,and the data was statistically analyzed. RESULTS:Totally 65 questionnaires were sent out, 63 were effectively received,with effective rate of 96.9%. 98.4% respondents thought PIVAS should equip clinical pharmacist,but the actual situation in respondent's hospital was not ideal. 100% thought clinical pharmacist in PIVAS should have the ability of prescription checking and prescription evaluation;more than 95% thought clinical pharmacist in PIVAS should assume the medi-cine publicity and education and need to have good communication with clinic;only 42.9% thought clinical pharmacist in PIVAS need to take part in the routine drug dispensing. CONCLUSIONS:It is necessary to equip clinical pharmacist with professional training in PIVAS. Clinical pharmacist in PIVAS should focus their ability on prescription checking and evaluation,medicine public-ity and education,communication with clinic.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the expression of transient receptor potential channel (TRPC) isoforms (TRPC1,3,4,5,6,7) inrats with cardiac hypertrophy.Methods Thirty adult male SD rats,weighing 200-240 g were divided into surgical group (model group,20 rats) and sham group (control group,10 rats) by random number table according to body weight.Aortic coarctation surgery was performed to establish a rat model of myocardial hypertrophy and the control group did not ligate thoracic aorta,but the same surgical procedure with the model group was performed.After 10 weeks,echocardiography was used to check changes of cardiac function; cardiac tissues of rats were weighed and cardiac hypertrophy index was calculated.Cardiac HE staining was used for observation of myocardial tissue morphological changes.Quantitative RT-PCR method was used for measuring the mRNA expression of TPRC isoforms (TRPC1,3,4,5,6,7).Western blotting assay was applied to detect the protein expression of TRPC4 and TPRC5 in hypertrophic cardiac tissue of rats.The relationship between cardiac hypertrophy exponential and TRPC4,TRPC5 protein expression was studied.Results Echocardiography showed that the septal thickness and posterior wall thickness in model group increased significantly compared with those of the control group [mm:(2.64 ± 0.31) vs.(1.89 ± 0.15),(2.30 ± 0.14) vs.(1.60 ± 0.09),t =9.19,8.57,all P < 0.05].Compared with the control group,cardiac hypertrophy index was significantly increased in model group [(3.21 ± 0.15)vs.(1.82 ± 0.10)mg/g,t =17.02,P < 0.01].HE staining of myocardium showed that cardiomyocyte hypertrophy,abnormal nuclear morphology and significantly enlarged nuclear,and hyperplasia of myocardial interstitial fibrous connective tissue could be seen in model group.The mRNA expression of TRPC4 and TRPC5 was significantly increased in the model group as compared to those of the control group (1.51 ± 0.48 vs.1.22 ± 0.25,1.65 ± 0.35 vs.1.27-± 0.87,t =3.55,4.65,all P < 0.05).The protein expression of TRPC4 and TRPC5 was significantly increased in the model group as compared to those of the control group (1.00 ± 0.54 vs.1.45 ± 0.68,1.00 ± 0.65 vs.1.58 ±0.93,t =5.51,7.10,all P < 0.05).The protein expression of TRPC4 and TPRC5 were associated with cardiac hypertrophy index (r =0.728,0.681,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Expression of TRPC4 and TRPC5 is increased in rats with cardiac hypertrophy.

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish a method for quality control of Tangui Weining granules. Methods TLC was used for the identification of Lignum Santali Albi and Cortex Cinnamomi. HPLC was used for the determination of Glycyrrhizin. The chromatographic conditions were as follows: Diamonsil C18(4. 6 mm ×250 mm, 5 μm)was used as a stationary phase, the mobile phase consisted of methanol-O. 2 mol/L ammonium acetate solution-acetic acid (60 : 40 : 1), the ducible, and the negative controll did not show interference. Glycyrrhizin was separated completely by HPLC and showed a good linearity in the range of 0. 1568 to 1. 568μg, r=0. 999 8, the average recovery was 99.69 %, and RSD was 0. 58 %. Conclusion TLC is simple, convenient and accurate. The method of HPLC is proved to be simple and accu-rate with a good reproducibility and can be used for the inspection of Glycyrrhizin in Tangui Weining Granules. This study provides a foundation for quality control of Tangui Weining granules.

ABSTRACT

Objective To produce Beidougen dispersible tablets.Methods To optimize formula and technology of Bei- dougen dispersible tablets under the control of multiple quality indexes.Results The formula was as follows:CMS- Na,PVPP and MCC.The granules were prepared with 24 mesh riddles,and disintegration time was 70 seconds.The stability was better.Conclusion The formula is reasonable.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To improve the quality of outpatient prescriptions and promote clinical rational drug use. METHODS:3 600 outpatient prescriptions prescribed in our hospital in 2007 were randomly sampled for statistical analysis of the problems manifested in the prescriptions. RESULTS:Of the 3 600 outpatient prescriptions reviewed,3 314(92.06%) were nonstandard; the errors totaled 10 014 cases/ times,of which,4 102 were foreword errors and 5 719 were errors in normal text. The irrational use totaled 193 cases/ times. CONCLUSION:Clinician and pharmacists should attach importance to the learning of pharmaceutical and medical knowledge so as to improve prescription quality.
