ABSTRACT
O objetivo do manuscrito foi realizar uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre o uso inadequado de Internet no ambiente de trabalho (cyberslacking). Foram utilizados os bancos de dados ScieELO, BVS, Lilacs, Science Direct On Line e PubMed, sem data mínima, sendo incluídos os artigos publicados até julho de 2013. Encontrou-se um total de 179 artigos, sendo 26 aproveitados. Verificou-se que o cyberslacking é mais comum entre homens jovens. Os fatores que podem levar a este comportamento são: sentimento de injustiça diante da organização, sono prejudicado e falta de controle do tempo on-line. As empresas, em sua maioria, adotam o monitoramento destas atividades. O viés positivo do cyberslacking é a recuperação da energia física para o desenvolvimento de outras atividades. Considera-se, por fim, que esta é uma problemática distante de ser solucionada, pois, além da complexidade deste comportamento, poucas estratégias efetivas são aplicadas até o momento
The objective of this manuscript was to perform a systematic literature review regarding the inadequate use of the internet at the workplace (cyberslacking). The databases ScieELO, BVS, Lilacs, Science Direct On Line and PubMed were used, without a minimum date, and included articles published up until July 2013. A total of 179 articles were found, 26 of which were utilized. It was verified that cyberslacking is more common amongst young males. Factors which could lead to this behavior are: feeling of injustice in the organization, impaired sleep and lack of control of online time. Most companies adopt the practice to monitor these activities. The positive bias of cyberslacking is the recovery of the physical energy for the development of other activities. Following, it is considered that this is a problem far from being solved, since, besides the complexity of this behavior, few effective strategies have been applied until this moment
