ABSTRACT

The ability to adhere to polyethylene catheters is important in the mechanism of catheter-associated infecctions caused by bacteria and fungi. We observed greater capacity of attachment in strains of Candida albicans, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus aureus
