Edmund Burke e a gênese conservadorismo / Edmund Burke and the genesis of conservatism

Resumo O artigo procura recuperar o conteúdo das ideias políticas e das análises de Burke sobre o processo revolucionário na França. Através de uma revisão bibliográfica, destaca as principais posições do fundador do conservadorismo. O objetivo consiste em reconstruir a estrutura originária do conservadorismo como uma das ideologias conservadoras surgidas no período moderno.

Abstract In the article it is sought to recover the content of Burke's political ideas and analyses about the French revolutionary process. By means of a bibliography review, it highlights the main positions of the founder of the conservatism. The aim is to rebuild the original structure of the conservatism as a conservative ideology which emerged in the modern period.

O conservadorismo moderno: esboço para uma aproximação / The modern Conservatism: a sketch for an approach

Procura-se apreender algumas determinações do pensamento conservador moderno. O ponto de partida é o patamar acumulado de conhecimento e crítica ao conservadorismo que a profissão de Serviço Social estabeleceu desde seu processo de renovação. O objetivo é fazer uma aproximação teórica às novas características que o sistema de ideias conservador adquire na atualidade.

We have tried to apprehend some determinations of the modern conservative thinking. The starting point is the accumulated level of knowledge and the criticism of Conservatism that the Social Work profession has established since its process of renewal. The aim is to make a theoretical approximation to the new characteristics that the conservative system of ideas has acquired nowadays.

Três notas sobre o sincretismo no Serviço Social / Three observations about syncretism in Social Work

O ensaio visa recuperar algumas indicações ontológicas sobre a estrutura sincrética do Serviço Social, tal como formulada por José Paulo Netto no início da década de 1990, para problematizar o significado social, para a profissão, de determinadas tendências inscritas na atual dinâmica econômica e política do Brasil. Procura fundamentar a atualidade e o vigor teórico da "tese do sincretismo" para analisar os dilemas contemporâneos do Serviço Social brasileiro.

This article aims at recovering some ontological indications about the syncretic structure of Social Work, as it was formulated by José Paulo Netto in the beginning of the 1950's, in order to question the social significance of some tendencies in the current economic and political Brazilian dynamics for the profession. It seeks to base the effective value and the technical vigour of the "thesis of syncretism" to analyze the contemporary dilemmas of the Brazilian Social Work.
