ABSTRACT
La realización de mamografía anual ha demostrado impacto en la disminución de la mortalidad por cáncer de mama. La mamografía digital presenta beneficios técnicos con respecto a la mamografía convencional, presentando un aumento significativo en la tasa de detección de cáncer en los estudios más recientes.
The annual mammography screening has demonstrated an impact in the reduction of breast cancer mortality. The digital mammography has more technical benefits than the conventional mammography, increasing the cancer detection rate showed in the recent studies.
