Development and applications of fiber-reinforced composite in prosthodontic and conservative dentistry

The use of fiber-reinforced composite [FRC] technology in dentistry may solve many of the problems associated with a metal alloy substructure such as corrosion, toxicity, complexity of fabrication, high cost, and esthetic limitation. There are societies where use of FRC has become common such as United State of America, Finland, Belgium and Netherland. However, the widespread use of this material is still limited.
