ABSTRACT

The pituitary-thyroid axis in dogs of hemorrhagic shock was studied by determination of serum T_4, T_3, rT_3 and TSH. Comparing with pre-shock condition, in shock dogs without dopamine (DA) treatment, serum T, and T_3 were decreased, rT_3 incre ascc and TSH unchanged.
