ABSTRACT
Severanoia brevicauda n.sp., a parasited of larvae of Diloboderus abderus in Argentina, is described and illustrated. It can be characterized by having the vulva situated at the posterior middle of the body, the eggs without sculpture, the male with theree pairs of genital papillae of which one pair is preanal and two pairs postanal.
