ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore a simple and effective method to improve the facial shape coordination for patients. Methods:From May 2015 to May 2020, 36 female patients (aged 24-32 years, mean 26.8 years) who were required to change face shape were enrolled in Zhengzhou Mylike Medical Cosmetology Hospital to improve face shape by adjusting frontaI arch width combined with autologous high-density fat transplantation.Results:Thirty-three patients (91.7%) were satisfied (31 satisfied, 2 basically satisfied). Three patients were not satisfied with the filling effect, and two of them were satisfied after the second filling (3 months after operation). 35 of the 36 patients were satisfied, accounting for 97.2%, only 1 case was dissatisfied. No other compIications such as fat liquefaction were observed. The mean morphological surface index of patients was 90.2 before operation and 88.1 after operation, showing significant improvement. Conclusions:Autologous high density fat transplantation is a good method to adjust the coordination of the frontal arch.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To make the facial rejuvenation of autologous fat transplantation more consistent with facial aesthetic morphology toimprove the therapeutic effect. Methods:From December 2017 to May 2020, Zhengzhou Mylike Medical Cosmetic Hospital received autologous high density fat filling treatment for 425 female patients aged 18-55 years, with an average age of 32.7 years. Autologous high density fat face transplantation was performed according to the aesthetic zoning of the forehead and topic. Results:Three months after the operation, 376 patients were satisfied with the effect of one filling, 49 patients were not satisfied, 45 of them received two supplementary injections. 376 cases were satisfied with the appearance after the first operation, with a satisfactory rate of 88.5%. After two fillings, a total of 420 cases were satisfied, with a total satisfactory rate of 98.8%. The total effective rate was 100%. There were no serious postoperative complications. Conclusions:The facial rejuvenation treatment according to the aesthetic division of frontal and topographical area combined with autologous high density fat transplantation has a natural postoperative appearance and high satisfactory rate.

ABSTRACT

Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) and arteriovenous malformation (AVM) are the common intracranial vascular malformations. The experimental models of AVF and AVM include animal models, in vitro models and biomathematical models. These models could be used to investigate the pathophysiological characters of AVF and AVM, to simulate the clinical treatment, and to examine the materials for embolization therapy. This article reviewed the formation of these models, evaluated their advantages and disadvantages, and briefly introduced their applications.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the distribution and evolution of immunocytes in infantile hemangioma(IH).Methods:Fifty-two infantile hemangioma samples were investigate. The distribution of CD3+T cells,CD8+T cells and S-100+dendritic cell(DC) in IH was observed with.Results:CD3+T cell was not found among the earliest IH.In the middle proliferating stage, the number of CD3+T cells increased; But the CD8+T cells were still scare. In the late proliferating stage, there were many CD3+T cells and the number of CD8+T cells also increased. In the early involuting stage, there were still a number of CD3+ and CD8+ T cells around the microvessels. In the middle involuting and involuted stage, only a few of CD3+T cells and CD8+ T cells existed. In the early proliferating stage, there were some DC in IH.During the middle and late proliferating stage, the number of DC increased significantly.Since the early involuting stage, the DCs decreased rapidly and disappeared. Conclusion:The distribution of T cells and its subsets and DC have close relationship with the pathologic evolution of infantile hemangioma.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo investigate the ideal methods for correction of lower eyelid retraction following lower eyelid blepharoplasty.

METHODSTranscanthal canthopexy was used in 5 patients (8 eyes) with mild lower eyelid retraction. Transcanthal canthopexy combined with Hamra's lower blepharoplasty was used in 15 patients (27 eyes) with severe lower lid retraction.

RESULTS14 patients (25 eyes) were followed up for 6-12 months. Of them, 13 patients achieved satisfactory results; one patient had undercorrection of retraction.

CONCLUSIONTranscanthal canthopexy is a simple and effective method for correction of mild lower eyelid retraction following lower eyelid blepharoplasty. Transcanthal canthopexy combining Hamra's lower blepharoplasty may be an ideal choice for correction of severe lower eyelid retraction.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To compare regeneration of motor fibers with that of sensory fibers by end to side neurorrhaphy and compare the effect of end to side neurorrhaphy with that of end to end neurorrhaphy. Methods: 20 SD rats were randomly divided into two groups: group A and group B. In group A, the right peroneal nerve was sectioned and the distal end was sutured laterally to the tibial nerve; in group B, the right peroneal nerve was sectioned and sutured with end to end neurorrhaphy. All left sides of two groups were used as control. Retrograde transportation of HRP was observed after 28 weeks. Results: The labelled neurons were also found in the anterior horn of the spinal cord and the spinal ganglia. Conclusion: The regenerative nerve fibers had motor fibers as well as sensory fibers by end to side neurorrhaphy. The effect of end to side neurorrhaphy is not as good as that of end to end neurorrhaphy. [
