O tratamento de classe III realizado no momento oportuno previne maiores discrepâncias na fase adulta. Este trabalho teve como objetivo demonstrar a efetividade do aparelho de Hyrax associado ao uso da máscara de Petit, em um relato de caso clínico. Paciente do sexo feminino, na fase do surto de crescimento puberal, apresentava classe III esquelética com atresia maxilar, mordida cruzada posterior e mordida aberta anterior. O tratamento proposto foi o uso do disjuntor de Hyrax associado ao uso da máscara facial de Petit. The treatment of class III if done in the correct age can avoid major discrepancies in adulthood. This work aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of Hyrax associated with the use of the Petit's mask in a case report.
