ABSTRACT
RESUMEN La sexualidad es parte de la personalidad, la manera de expresarla y vivirla es diferente en cada persona, en tanto, la adolescencia, como etapa del ciclo vital humano, se caracteriza por cambios biológicos, sicológicos y sociales. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica para profundizar en el estudio de la sexualidad en la adolescencia y las acciones educativas como alternativa de la educación sexual. Se ejecutó una búsqueda en la literatura digital de artículos de investigaciones originales en las bases de datos SciELO Cuba, SciELO Regional, ScienceDirect, ClinicalKey, Cumed, Lilacs, así como los sitios web Organización Panamericana de la Salud, Organización Mundial de la Salud, Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas de Cuba, Fondo de las Naciones Unidas. Se concluye que las acciones educativas sobre sexualidad en la adolescencia permitirán a los jóvenes tomar decisiones fundamentadas sobre su sexualidad y su salud, prepararse para la vida y mantener una conducta sexual responsable.
ABSTRACT Sexuality is part of personality, the way to express it and live it is different in everyone. Meanwhile, adolescence, as a stage of humans' life, is characterized by biological, psychological and social changes. In order to deepen on the study of sexuality in adolescence and on educational actions as alternatives of sexual education, a bibliographic review was carried out. It was made a digital literature search of articles from original researches in SciELO Cuba, SciELO Regional, ScienceDirect, ClinicalKey, Cumed, Lilacs, as well as the Pan-American Health Organization, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Fund for Population Activities, and the United Nations Fund websites. It was reached the conclusion that educational actions about sexuality in adolescence will allow young people to make conscious decisions about their sexuality and health, prepare for life and maintain a responsible sexual behavior.
ABSTRACT
El tabaquismo es la principal causa prevenible de muerte en el mundo. Es responsable de cinco millones de defunciones anuales y esta cifra será de más de ocho millones para el año 2030. Camagüey presenta datos estadísticos que reflejan un aumento de 2,5 porciento de fallecidos por tumores malignos con respecto al año anterior, y la ubicación en tráquea, bronquio y pulmón se mantuvo relacionada con fumadores en gran porcentaje. Independientemente de las estrategias participativas-educativas en la comunidad, se requiere incrementar en los decisores de salud el nivel de conocimientos y la participación en el cumplimiento de lo legislado sobre control del tabaquismo, con la protección a las personas del humo de tabaco ajeno en centros de salud durante el período marzo 2011-2012, lo que constituye el objetivo de la investigación. Con descripción de corte transversal se aplicó la estrategia educativa participativa. El universo estuvo constituido por 36 decisores y el total de la muestra fue de 26, a quienes se les solicitó el consentimiento informado. Se tuvieron en cuenta los criterios éticos de voluntariedad y confidencialidad. Los datos obtenidos fueron el nivel de conocimiento y el cumplimiento de prácticas legales. La confección y la validación de este instrumento estuvo a cargo de un grupo de especialistas del Centro Provincial de Promoción y Educación para la Salud. Resultó significativo el insuficiente conocimiento de la legislación sobre la regulación de fumar en las instituciones de salud y el no conocimiento del funcionamiento de las secciones de trabajadores en la lucha contra el tabaquismo y de los servicios de cesación, por lo que se confeccionó un plan de acción con actividades participativas y de capacitación. Smoking is the leading cause of death at world scale. It accounts for five millions yearly and this figure will be higher than eight millions for 2030. Camagüey province shows statistic data reflecting an increase of the 2,5 percent of deceased persons due to malignant tumors regarding the past year and the location in trachea, bronchi and lung remained in relation to smokers in a high percentage. Independently of the participation-educational strategies in community, it is necessary to increase in those making health decisions the level of knowledges and the participation in the fulfillment of that legislated on the smoking control, with the protection to persons from the cigarette smoking of others in health centers during 2011-2012, being the objective of present research. With a cross-sectional description the participation-educational strategy was implemented. Universe included 36 decision makers and the total of sample was 26, to whom a informed consent was requested. Authors took into account the ethical criteria of volition and confidentially. The data obtained included the level of knowledge and the fulfillment of legal practices. The design and validation of this tool was in charge of a group of specialists from the Provincial Center of Promotion and Health Education. It was significant the insufficient knowledge of the legislation on the smoking regulation in health institutions and the lack of knowledge of functioning of trade unions in the fight against smoking and of the cessation services, thus it was designed a plan of action with participation activities and training.
