ABSTRACT

Introduction. Las compras estratégicas son un componente importante del financiamiento del sistema de salud. Puede mejorar la productividad, la justicia y la responsabilidad en la prestación de atención médica en caso de considerar la calidad. Este estudio, que se realizó como una revisión sistemática, tuvo como objetivo investigar el estado de la calidad en cinco dominios de compras estratégicas en el sistema de salud para responder qué, para quién, de quién, cómo comprar y cuánto comprar. Material y Métodos: Este estudio revisó sistemáticamente los artículos publicados en las bases de datos de Web of Sciences (WOS), Scopus, PubMed, Medline vía Ovid, Embase desde 2000 hasta octubre de 2019. Las palabras clave utilizadas para la búsqueda en las bases de datos incluyeron las siguientes: Sector Salud, Entrega de atención médica, garantía de calidad, mejora de la calidad y compras estratégicas. Un total de 182 artículos fueron seleccionados y revisados ​​por cuatro investigadores. Se excluyeron los artículos con contenido irrelevante. Los datos de los artículos seleccionados se analizaron mediante el método de análisis de contenido. Resultados: De los 182 artículos recopilados mediante la búsqueda en las bases de datos seleccionadas, se analizaron 16 artículos. Con base en los resultados de este estudio, las compras estratégicas en el sistema de salud resultan en la entrega de servicios con mayor calidad. Conclusión: Las compras estratégicas pueden mejorar el desempeño del sistema de salud al elegir el proveedor más apropiado y el método de pago más apropiado, junto con la equidad en la prestación de servicios de atención médica de calidad


Introducction. Strategic purchasing is an important component of financing in the health system. It can enhance productivity, justice, and accountability in the health care delivery in case of considering the quality. This study, which was conducted as a systematic review, was aimed at investigating the status of quality in five domains of strategic purchasing in the health system to answer what, for whom, from whom, how to buy, and how much to buy. Material and Methods: This study systematically reviewed the articles published in the databases of Web of Sciences (WOS), Scopus, PubMed, Medline via Ovid, Embase from 2000 to October 2019. The keywords used to search the databases included the following: Health Care Sector, Delivery of Health Care, Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement, and Strategic Purchasing. A total of 182 articles were selected and reviewed by four researchers. Articles with irrelevant content were excluded. Data of the selected articles were analyzed using the content analysis method. Results: Of the 182 articles collected through searching the selected databases, 16 articles were analyzed. Based on the results of this study, strategic purchasing in the health system results in the delivery of services with higher quality. Conclusion: Strategic purchasing can enhance the performance of the health system through choosing the most appropriate provider and the most appropriate payment method, along with equity in providing quality health care services

ABSTRACT

Background: Workplace violence has been increasingly known as a problem in healthcare systems. Medical emergency technicians during work encounter workplace violence. This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relation between encountering workplace violence and pre-hospital services presentation by Yasouj 115 technicians. Methods: This study was descriptive and of correlation type and the statistical population of the study was constituted from all technicians of Yasouj 115 emergency who were 150. For sampling, Morgan table was used and 110 employees were selected with random method. The research instrument in this study is workplace violence and pre-hospital services presentation questionnaire. Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS software and statistical tests of correlation factor and multi-vitiate variance. Results: The results showed that there is a significant relation between encountering workplace violence and pre-hospital services presentation by 115 technicians (p<0.05). Also, there is a significant relation between workplace violence and communicational skill, treatment actions, the number of missions and scene control creativity (p<0.05). There is a significant difference between encountering workplace violence and presenting pre-hospital services by 115 technicians based on sex and type of employment (p<0.05), but there is no significant difference between pre-hospital services presentation by 115 technicians and marital status and education (P>0.05). Conclusion: Accuracy and speed in action, creativity in scene control for preventing from contention, appropriate relation with the patient and his attendants and wide missions for incident control are effective in reducing workplace violence.

Introduction: Today, one of main priorities of managers is increasing efficiency and improvement of provided services in health and treatment domain for increasing people satisfaction. By increasing efficiency in their organizations, managers could pave the way for achieving organizational aims and the country development in health and treatment domain. Regarding the different designing of workplace and factors effective on personnel efficiency in various organizations, this study has been performed with the aim of examining the relation between workplace designing and personnel efficiency. Materials and Methods: The present descriptive study was performed in 2015 in cross-sectional form. The study statistical population was constituted from 750 persons of Tehran Shahid Modarres hospital personnel. For collecting data, scholar- made questionnaire was used whose validity was confirmed. In this study, 107 men and 175 women randomly completed the questionnaire that totally 282 people were examined. The questionnaire validity was calculated using Cronbach alpha between 0.691 and 0.701. Data obtained from the questionnaire was analyzed using SPSS software and statistical analysis (variance analysis, dependent T-test, Pierson correlation test, regression). In data analysis the highest and lowest score was 1 and 5. Results: Findings indicate that workplace physical factor including furniture, temperature, noise and music had significant relations with efficiency and lighting and spatial arrangement didn’t have any significant relation with efficiency. Generally, temperature with correlation (0.241) had the highest impact and noise (0.137) had the least impact on efficiency. Conclusion: Improvement and suitable designing of workplace leads satisfaction and increasing personnel efficiency.

ABSTRACT

Background and Objectives: Intellectual capital is a topic that is formed in the shadow of economic, social and managerial development in recent years. Its purpose is trying to use of knowledge effectively in management and upgrading and improving the organizations, and it has attracted much attention in today’s environment. This study was conducted and implemented to evaluate intellectual capital and effective factors on it in the Yasuj University of Medical Sciences of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad. Materials and methods: This is a cross-sectional study and all employees, including managers, Yasuj University of Medical Sciences of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, selected for statistical population. This study was done in September 2015. 150 manager of university were participated in this project and completed the questionnaire. Collected and coded information was analyzed using SPSS-ver. 22 software. We used tables and diagrams for describing the statistical population and qui-square test and t-test for data analysis. Significance level was 0.05 in this study. Results: Mean and standard deviation of intellectual capital, human capital, costumer, and structural capital in study population were 61.3 (9.3), 60.6 (10.5), 62.7 (10.4) and 61.6 (11.2) respectively. Sex has had a significant relationship with the intellectual capital but; Age, job tenure and education have had no significant relationship with the intellectual capital. Conclusion: These scores indicate the middle and low level of intellectual capital in Yasuj University of medical sciences in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province. It is necessary to plan for upgrading and improving the intellectual capital in the university.
