ABSTRACT
Victor Vincent Valla foi o primeiro pesquisador de renomeacadêmico a se dedicar ao estudo das peculiaridadese desafios próprios da aplicação da educação popularno campo específico da saúde comunitária. Participouativamente da formação acadêmica de muitas das atuaislideranças e pesquisadores da educação popular em saúde.Seu modo de ser marcou fortemente as características domovimento da educação popular em saúde.
