ABSTRACT

O objetivo foi analisar os diagnóstico das doenças das mamas de um determinado grupo de mulheres jovens que apresentou queixas mamárias. Realizou-se um estudo observacional e retrospectivo em uma amostra de 101 mulheres com idade inferior a 40 anos que apresentaram queixas mamárias, atendidas numa Clínica de Mastologia do Município de Santo Ângelo. Dentre as 101 mulheres, a idade média foi de 30,8 anos. Grande parte delas (40,6%; 41/101) relatou dor e nódulo. No exame clínico das mamas, a maioria (60,4%; 61/101) apresentou nódulo. Com relação à mamografia, a maioria (62,3%; 43/69) apresentou resultado de BIRADS 2. Entre as pacientes que realizaram o exame citológico, a maioria (91,2%; 31/34) mostrou resultado negativo para malignidade, dos quais a maioria foi fibroadenoma. No exame histopatológico, realizado por 21 pacientes, a maioria (67%; 14/21) teve resultado negativo para malignidade. Este trabalho demonstra a importância de investigar as mulheres jovens com sintomas mamários já que das 101 mulheres jovens estudadas, 6,9% (7/101) daquelas com queixas mamárias apresentaram câncer de mama.


The aim was to analyze the diagnosis of breast disease of a group of young women who had breast symptoms. A study observational and retrospective was conducted in a sample of 101 women aged forty yearsor less and who had breast complaints, attending a clinic for Mastology in the city of Santo Ângelo. Among the 101 women, the mean age was 30.8 years. Most women (40.6%, 41/101) reported pain and nodule. In the clinical examination of the breasts, the majority (60.4%, 61/101) had nodule. Regarding to mammography, the majority (62.3%, 43/69) presented BIRADS 1 and 2, and between women who underwent ultrasound examination, 100% presented BIRADS 2. Among the patients who underwent cytological test, most (91.2%, 31/34) had negative for malignidade result, of which the majority was fibroadenoma. On histopathological exam, performed for 21 patients, most (67%, 14/21) had negative for malignancy results. This work demonstrates the importance of investigating young women with breast symptoms because of the 101 young women studied, 6.9% (7/101) of women with breast complaints had breast cancer.
