ABSTRACT
Este artículo aborda la labor de la revista Humanidades Médicas desde su creación en el 2001 hasta la actualidad y las principales acciones implementadas para contribuir al desarrollo de la publicación científica, que permitan elevar las competencias profesionales de autores, árbitros y editores, a partir de las deficiencias detectadas durante el proceso editorial y la necesidad de asesoramiento a los especialistas de otras revistas científicas cubanas que realizan el proceso de marcación para el proyecto SciELO.
This article deals with the work of Humanidades Médicas journal since its creation in 2001 up to the present, and the main actions implemented to contribute to the development of the scientific publication for increasing the professional competences of the authors, referees and editors, from the deficiencies detected during the editorial process and the need of counselling to specialists of other Cuban scientific journals that perform the process of marking for the SciELO project.
ABSTRACT
Se desarrolló un estudio cualitativo descriptivo con el objetivo de contribuir al perfeccionamiento de la gestión de información en la biblioteca del policlínico "Tula Aguilera", de Camagüey, a partir de la determinación de las necesidades generales en la organización y del diseño del estudio de las necesidades más específicas de los usuarios potenciales que resultaron priorizados durante el año 2010. Se aplicó la metodología para el estudio de las necesidades de información, conocimiento y aprendizaje en las bibliotecas y centros de documentación de salud hasta su proceso 6, orientada para la red de bibliotecas médicas cubanas, la cual permitió el diseño del estudio de las necesidades de información, conocimiento y aprendizaje de los usuarios priorizados, teniendo en cuenta la integración de variables, fuentes y técnicas. La investigación reveló insuficiencias en la gestión de información, desde el bajo nivel de conocimiento de las ideas rectoras en la organización, hasta la no formulación de la visión y los objetivos estratégicos, para las cuales se realizaron propuestas para su solución
A descriptive qualitative study was carried out with the objective to contribute to the improvement of the information management in the library of the policlinic "Tula Aguilera", in Camagüey, starting from the determining of the general needs in the organization, and the design of the study of the most specific needs in the potential users that were prioritized, during the 2010. The methodology for the study of the need study, knowledge and learning in the libraries and centers of documentation of health was applied until its process 6, guided through the net of Cuban medical libraries. It was characterized and justified the use of the selected methodology, which permitted the study design of the information needs, knowledge and the users' learning prioritized starting from the integration of variables, sources and techniques. The study revealed insufficiencies in information management, from the low level of knowledge of the organization rector ideas to the non-formulation of the vision and the strategic objectives for which strategies for their solutions were performed

Las bibliografías, como repertorios, cuentan con sus técnicas y su propia teoría que las han llevado al desarrollo de la ciencia bibliográfica actual. Objetivo: confeccionar la compilación bibliográfica de los artículos publicados en la revista desde 1996 hasta enero-febrero de 2007, así como su implementación a través de una base de datos con interfaz Web, como producto de alto valor agregado, en el sitio Web del CPICM-C. Método: se realizó e implementó una compilación bibliográfica de los artículos de la revista electrónica Archivo Médico Camagüey, publicada en el Centro Provincial de Información de Ciencias Médicas, a partir del uso de las nuevas tecnologías de la información en las bibliotecas. Se utilizaron como herramientas un sistema de software libre y el método análisis documental. La descripción bibliográfica fue de acuerdo con el estilo Vancouver. Resultados: se implementó la digitalización de un producto Web con la creación de un repertorio bibliográfico por temáticas, autor y título, con el propósito de identificar las investigaciones realizadas y su recuperación. Conclusiones:se propone la continuidad y actualización del producto.
Bibliographies, as repertories, have their techniques and their own theory that have taken them to the development of the current bibliographical science. Objective: to make a bibliographical compilation of the articles published in the journal from 1996 to January-February 2007, and their implementation through a database with interface Web, as a product of aggregate value, in the website of the Information Provincial Center of Medical College. Method: a bibliographical compilation of the articles of the medical electronic journal " Archivo Médico de Camagüey" was performed , starting from the use of new technologies of the information in libraries. They were used as tools a system of free software and the documentary analysis method. The bibliographical description was according to Vancouver style. Results: the digitalization of a Web product with the creation of a bibliographical repertory by subject, author and title was implemented with the purpose of identifying the carried out investigations and its recovery. Conclusions: the continuity and updating of the product is proposed.
