ABSTRACT
Five cases of patients, natives of Cusco, Peru with hare lip and cleft palate are presented. In two of the cases the phenotype were consistent with the clinical diferential diagnosis. Their cromosomal pathology was defined as Patau Syndrome. The two other cases were monogenetics and diagnosed as van der Weude and Pierre Rrobin Syndrome. The last one was typified as ADAM syndrome or ambic strips and most probable induced by environable factors. The importance of multidisciplinary approache for an appropiate clinical management and genetic advice for patients with their special pathology is undelined.
