ABSTRACT

Pregnancy is a period of endocrinologic, immunological, metabolic and vascular changes during which various cutaneous alterations can be observed. If the physiological modifications are easy to recognize, the diagnosis of pregnancy specific dermatosis are more difficult. Through a correct classification that rests on the exam of elementary lesion, the diagnosis is possible. In case of pruriginous dermatoses, a hepatic check-up including liver enzymes and serum biliary acids must be systematic. The cutaneous biopsy with direct immunofluorescence exam will be done if pemphigoid gestationis is suspected. The treatment remains symptomatic and rests on antipruriginous drugs, dermatotropic corticoids and sometimes cures of corticoids per os. The maternal prognosis is often good. The fetal prognosis is bad in case of high biliary acids level as well as in papulous dermatosis

ABSTRACT

Cervical carcinoma associated pregnancy is rare relating to only 3 to 17 pregnancies out of 10000 The two principal prognostic factors of cervical cancer which are the stage of disease and the lymphatic spread are associated to other factors concerning the pregnancy which are the term of pregnancy and the mode of delivery The triplet smear-colposcopy-biopsy poses the exact diagnosis in 99,5% of cases, and the colposcopy is indicated each time the smear is suspect or positive, or if a biopsy is necessary in front of a suspect clinical examination This association raises the delicate question of the attitude to adopt with respect to the foetus as well as obstetrical therapeutic We recorded 3 cases in Maternity LALLA MERIEM of the C H U Ibn Rochd of CASABLANCA between 1998 and 2001 as well as a review of the literature in order to elucidate the principal points of the therapeutic

ABSTRACT

Corticosteroid are an essential mean to overcome systemic disorders. Thirty years ago they changed the prognosis of most of these diseases. Adverse effects are numerous and dangerous, especially infectious diseases and bone disorders. Prednisone is the most used drug. The pulse of methyprednisone is less used. In this study, we discuss some principles of the use of corticosteroid and the problems encountered using corticotherapy in systemic disorders
