ABSTRACT
Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS), also known as the multifactorial erythematous drug eruption, is a class of adverse reactions of the skin and mucous membranes primarily caused by drug allergy often involving the oral cavity, eyes, and external genital mucosa, generally accompanied by fever, and can be life-threatening in severe cases. In February 2022, the Department of Stomatology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University admitted a patient with huge inflammatory hyperplasia of bilateral lingual margins secondary to SJS. Upon admission, no other obvious symptoms were observed except for tongue hyperplasia. The patient suffered from a severe adverse drug reaction caused by acetaminophen 2 months ago and was complicated by liver dysfunction and pulmonary infection. After 1 month of treatment and rehabilitation, he developed a secondary tongue mass and was subsequently admitted to Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Ward 2, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. After completing the examination, the tongue mass was surgically removed. After a follow-up of 11 months, the patient's condition was satisfactory and no temporary discomfort was observed. The case of tongue mass secondary to SJS is extremely rare. If a stomatologist encounters a similar case, we should carefully inquire about the drug allergy history and recent medication history, and be alert to whether or not they had adverse drug reactions recently.

Objective To determine telmisartan and amlodipine assay in the compound tablet .Methods First derivative UV spectrophotometry was used at wavelength 236 nm for telmisartan and 390 nm for amlodipine .Results Telmisartan con-tent has a good linear relationship in the concentration range of (4~20) × 10-3 mg/ml .The standard curve equation is Y =0 .0043 X-0 .0005 and correlation coefficient R2 =0 .9993 .Amlodipine content has a good linear relationship in the concen-tration range of (10~90) × 10-3 mg/ml .The standard curve equation is Y =0 .0003 X+0 .0002 and correlation coefficient R2 =0 .9995 .Conclusion The assay results from this method are consistent with the results from HPLC .This procedure pro-vides a specific ,accurate and precise method to assay the amlodipine and telmisartan in compound tablet .
ABSTRACT
Cervical ectopic thymus rarely occur. We reported a case of cervical thymus presenting as a unilateral neck mass in an infant. Ultrasonography showed a low echo-level mass with clear border and abundant blood flow signal in the left neck. Preoperative chest CT revealed normal structures in the superior mediastinum including the thymus. Surgical resection was performed and the histological diagnosis was ectopic cervical thymus.

Objective: To study the expression of Survivin protein and its relationship with apoptosis in oromaxillofacial sarcoma(OMFS). AIM: To investigate the method for using semi-bionic extraction (SBE) on Simiao Yongan Decoction as an example. METHODS: Orthogonal design was used to optimize the extraction conditions of SBE with the evaluation markers such as chlorogenic acid, ferulic acid, glycyrrhizic acid, total polysaccharide, ethanol soluble extractives and dried extract. RESULTS: The optimized SBE conditions were as follows: The medical material was powdered through a sieve with 4 meshes) and extracted with 20% ethanol for three times, the pH of the three extractions were in proper order 3.50, 7.50, 8.50 ; the solvent volume was 10,8,8 times, respectively, and the extraction time was 1.5,1.0,1.0 h, respectively. CONCLUSION: The optimum extraction conditions are stable and practicable, and surpass the original SBE extraction conditions.
