ABSTRACT

A case of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome was presented with some clinical observation. Special feature was the presence of cyst-like elevated portions at the peripheral iris, in addition to secondary glaucoma, alopecia, poliosis and vitiligo. Of the iris, the surface of elevated portion was thin and depigmented. A light red fundus reflex was observed through the surface of iris cyst as in case of the albino and neovascularization was seen in the peripheral iris. Neither hyperglycemia in blood nor pleocytosis of spinal fluid was found in laboratory examination. In neurological examination including hearing disturbance, none of abnormality was found.

ABSTRACT

A case of Crouzon's disease, in spite of the relatively small number of cases reported until recently. The patient was 3years old male and hospitalized Woo-Sok University hospital 5 May, 1970. the appearance of the patient was striking type of facial deformity. There is a marked frontal boss forming a prominent bregmatic tumour, hooked nose, a small receding maxilla and a pronounced prognathism in wthich the teeth of the lower jaw protrude several centimetres beyond those of the upper. Proptosis and subnormal mentality was present, Cerebral decompression had been performed to the patient for his exophthalmos, it was aggreviated after the operation and thus enucleation was done finally.

ABSTRACT

A case of Coats' disease, apparently as the first report in Korea, is presented. The patient was 17 years old Korean female and hospitalized Woo-Suk University hospital on May 23, 1969. Although cyclodialysis had been performed to the patient her intraocular pressure remained as the same as before the treatment, and thus enucleation Was done finally.
