ABSTRACT
Objective:To explore alterations of myocardial mechanics in mice models of physiological aging.Methods:Mice aged from 3 weeks to 24 months were chosen(n=50). Conventional echocardiography and layer speckle tracking echocardiography(LS-STE)were applied to evaluate alterations of myocardial mechanics in different ages(each for 10 mise). Pathological myocardial alterations in the aging process were detected using HE and Masson's trichrome staining.Results:Clear age-dependent changes in mice of different ages were observed when assessed using parameters of conventional echocardiography( P<0.05 for all). Values from parameters of LS-STE also showed that longitudinal, circumferential and radial strain in both the endocardium and the epicardium gradually decreased during physiological aging( P<0.05 for all). Compared with the 3-weeks old group, longitudinal strain in the endocardium was significantly reduced in the 14-months old group[(-23.49±2.32) vs.(-17.19±2.28), P<0.05]; Compared with the 3-weeks old group, radial strain, longitudinal strain in the endocardium, longitudinal strain in the epicardium, circumferential strain in the endocardium and circumferential strain in the epicardium were significantly reduced in the 24-months old group[(32.90±5.01) vs.(21.80±5.54), (-23.49±2.32) vs.(-15.44±2.27), (-13.23±3.19) vs.(-7.59±2.21), (-25.93±4.09) vs.(-20.31±4.08), (-9.30±1.92) vs.(-6.01±1.04), P<0.05)]; HE and Masson's trichrome staining of the myocardium indicated increases in the cross-sectional area of cardiomyocytes and fibrosis during the aging process. Conclusions:LS-STE can accurately detect early cardiac dysfunction and pathological myocardial alterations associated with aging in mice and may serve as an effective tool in evaluating anti-myocardial aging.
ABSTRACT
The clinical teaching of geriatrics is difficult to arouse the students' interest. The flipped classroom teaching method can improve it through the interaction. We used WeChat as a platform for flipped classes and designed a variety of micro lessons. The participation and study interests of students were obvi-ously increased through exchanging teaching, answering questions and discussing. The teaching efficiency was also improved after strengthening practice. The preliminary practice shows that this teaching method can provide students a virtual teaching platform. It not only can enhance the teaching effect, but also can share teaching resources in network even for the long-term cross hospital and cross school exchange promotion.

Objective To study the curative efficacy of Ningmitai capsule unite amsulosin hydrochloride sustained realeased capsules treatment ofⅢ type B prostatitis and its effects on level of the prostate fluid of interleukin-10(IL-10), tumor necrosis factor alpha, prostaglandin E2.Methods 104 patients withⅢtype B prostatitis who received therapy from December 2015 to October 2016 in our hospital were selected as research objects, according to the treatment were divided into observation group and control group , the observation group was treated with Ningmitai capsules unite Tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained realeased capsules while the control group was treated with Tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained realeased capsules.Comparison curative effect ,before and after the treatment of chronic inflammatory prostate integral index, maximum urinary flow rate, average urine flow rate;Analysis before and after treatment prostate fluid of interleukin-10, tumor necrosis factor alpha, prostaglandin E2 level and WBC count.Results After treatment, the observation group total effective rate was 90.4%, significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05);After treatment, the observation group in the prostatic fluid IL-10, the TNF-α, PGE-2, the WBC levels were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05),and after the treatment,chronic inflammatory prostate integral index of observation group was obviously lower than the control group, the maximum urinary flow rate, average urine flow rate is significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Ningmitai capsules unite amsulosin hydrochloride sustained realeased capsules treatment Ⅲ type B prostatitis has significantly clinical curative effect, can pass down the prostate fluid of IL-10, the TNF alpha, PGE-2 levels, relieve the clinical symptoms.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of calcitriol on related indicators in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF). METHODS:114 patients with CRF were randomly divided into observation group(57 cases)and control group(57 cas-es). Control group was given high-quality low-protein and low phosphorus diet,if necessary,phosphate binders,Calcium D3 tablet and other conventional treatment;observation group was additionally given 0.25 μg Calcitriol soft capsule,once a day. The treat-ment course for both groups was 8 weeks. Serum levels of inflammatory factors,alkaline phosphatase,hemoglobin,erythrocyte, serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels and adverse reactions in 2 groups before and after treatment were observed. RESULTS:Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the serum levels of inflammatory factors,alkaline phosphatase,hemoglobin, erythrocyte,senum creatininine and ureanitrogen between 2 groups(P>0.05). After treatment,serum inflammatory factors,alkaline phosphatase,serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels in 2 groups were significantly shorter than before,and observation group was lower than control group,the differences were statistically significant (P0.05). And there was no obvious adverse reac-tions between 2 groups during treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Based on the conventional treatment,calcitriol can reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors and improve micro-inflammatory state and renal function in patients with CRF.

Case teaching method has been widely used in clinical medicine teaching.Because of the complicated diseases in elderly patients and the individual differences,it is difficult to achieve the goal of teaching only through several cases.Typical cases of different level are selected according to students' different learning stages and difficulty degree in longitudinal stepped case teaching.The students can gradually understand and master the theoretical knowledge through this method.In addition,their clinical thinking and the ability of solving practical problems can also be trained continuously.Preliminary practice shows that this teaching method is more suitable for the development of modern medical education and the needs of teaching.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To observe the effect and safety of the inhalation of Lanqin oral solutions combined with interferon in the treatment of children herpes angina. Methods:The children with herpes angina were randomly divided into two groups. On the basis of support treatment, the control group (57 cases) was intravenously treated with ribavirin, and the observation group (58 cases) was treated with the combined inhalation of interferon and Lanqin oral solutions. The time of transference cure, total efficiency and adverse drug reactions in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:The time of transference cure of the observation group was sig-nificantly shorter than that of the control group (P<0. 05) with higher total efficiency (P<0. 05). The adverse drug reactions were few and mild in the two groups. Conclusion:The inhalation of Lanqin oral solutions combined with interferon in the treatment of chil-dren with herpes angina is effective with short transference cure time, convenience of use and promising security, which is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To study the effects of community nursing interventions on stroke patients with attention disorders.Methods A total of 60 stroke patients fulfilling eligibility were divided randomly into two groups.Their data were collected between December 2010 and February 2012.The intervention group was treated by community nurses while the control group trained by family members.Attention was assessed by simple reaction time (SRT) and number cancellation test (NCT).Modified Barthel index was used to assess the activities of daily living (ADL).Both groups were evaluated before and after a 2-month intervention.Results Before treatment,the control group had(0.71 ± 0.25),(662.8 ± 152.7) and(31 ±8)scores at SRT,NCT and MBI respectively.And the intervention group yielded(0.69 ± 0.19),(652.7 ±131.0) and (30 ± 8)scores at SRT,NCT and MBI respectively.There were no significant differences in average value of SRT,NCT and MBI between training and control groups at pre-treatment (P ＞ 0.05).After 2 months,the control group had (0.68 ± 0.20),(637.4 ± 151.7) and (33 ± 8) scores at SRT,NCT and MBI respectively.And the intervention group yielded (0.56 ± 0.16),(540.3 ± 125.9) and(37 ± 8) scores at SRT,NCT and MBI respectively.Very significant difference existed in attention scale scores at Month 2 (P ＜ 0.01) and the difference in ADL scale scores was also significant (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion For stroke patients with attention disorders,strengthening community nursing interventions may help to improve attention and boost activity of daily living.

A total of 60 patients with cognitive impairment were divided randomly into observation and control groups.Both groups were treated by conventional exercise therapy and computer-assisted cognitive rehabilitation while humanities therapy was combined in the observation group.After 8-week treatment,Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment (LOTCA) and modified Barthel index (MBI) scores were enhanced in both groups (P ＜ 0.05) while the scores of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS)and self-rating depression scale (SDS) declined obviously in observation group (P ＜ 0.05).The thought operation function,optomotor tissue,consciousness,concentration and total score of cognitive function in observation group were higher than control group (P ＜ 0.01) while the scores of SAS and SDS obviously lower (P ＜ 0.01).The scores of SAS were (50 ± 4),(55 ± 5) and SDS (53 ± 4),(56 ± 5) in two groups respectively.Therefore the therapy of computer cognitive rehabilitation plus humanities has the significant effect on improving cognitive function.
ABSTRACT
A total of 60 brain injury patients with cognitive impairment were randomly divided into electro-acupuncture,computer and combination groups (n =20 each).The electro-acupuncture group received electroacupuncture,computer group cognitive rehabilitation training with specialized equipment and combination group both regimens.The treatment lasted for 2 months.Before training,Loewenstein occupational therapy cognitive assessment (LOTCA) test was not statistically significant among all groups (P 8 0.05).After 1 month,the combination group scored higher than pre-training (P ＜ 0.05).After 2 months,the scores of all groups were higher than pre-training(P ＜ 0.05).After 1 and 2-month training,the combination group scored higher than the other two groups in aspects of consciousness,optomotor tissue,attention,thinking and aggregate score (P ＜ 0.05).However,the orientation scores of all groups changed insignificantly after 1-month training (P 8 0.05),the combination group scored higher than the other two groups in improved orientation after 2 months (P ＜ 0.05).

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of immediate intravesical instillation combined with short-term maintained intravesical instillat.ion chemotherapy of pirarubicin (THP) after operation for preventing postoperative recurrence of superficial bladder tumor.Methods One hundred and seven patients with superficial bladder tumor were divided by random digits table method into two groups:group A (50 cases ) was treated with immediate intravesical instillation combined with short-term maintained intravesical instillation chemotherapy after operation,and group B (57 cases) was treated with conventional intravesical instillation chemotherapy.Patients in group A underwent intravesical instillation of THP within 24 hours,maintained intravesical instillation once a week for 8 weeks.Patients in group B underwent intravesical instillation of THP in one or two weeks after operation,once a week for 8 weeks.And then once a month for 10 months.All patients were followed up with regular cystoscopy examination.Results Patients were followed up for 13-84 months,the incidence of partial vesical toxic reaction in group A was 26.00 ％ (13/50),general symptom rate was 4.00％ ( 2/50 ),the rate of recurrency was 16.00％ ( 8/50 ).The incidence of partial vesical toxic reaction in group B was 22.81％( 13/57 ),general symptom rate was 1.75％( 1/57 ),the rate of recurrency was 19.30％ (11/57).There was no significant differences between two groups (P ＞ 0.05 ).Conclusions Immediate intravesical instillation of THP after operation is safe and effective,but it is not suitable for patients with obvious bladder perforation and large wound surface of bladder mucosa after transurethral rescection.Immediate intravesical instillation combined with short-term maintained intravesical instillation chemotherapy of THP after operation for preventing postoperative recurrence of superficial bladder tumor is effective and well tolerated.
