ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the safety and suitability of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions generated by generative artificial intelligence (AIGC), and to provide research ideas for empowering the traditional Chinese medicine industry with AIGC. METHODS Using the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia and the 5th edition of Traditional Chinese Medicine as corpus, GPT-4 and the real-time networking model developed based on GPT-4 (referred to as the “networking model”) were used for deep learning. The clinical cases included in the consensus of traditional Chinese medicine experts in recent years were extracted manually to regenerate prescriptions based on diagnosis using the GPT-4 model and networking model; traditional Chinese medicine experts conducted blind evaluation and scoring of GPT-4 generated prescriptions, networking model generated prescriptions, and expert consensus prescriptions. At the same time, Turing testing was used to evaluate whether the GPT-4 model and networking model had the same ability as human intelligence. RESULTS The average score of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions generated by the GPT-4 model showed no statistically significant difference compared to manual prescriptions (P>0.05), while the average score of prescriptions generated by the networking model showed no statistically significant difference compared to traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions generated by the GPT-4 model (P>0.05). The proportion of model-generated prescriptions mistakenly judged as manual prescriptions in the Turing test was 51.11%. CONCLUSIONS The traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions generated by the GPT-4 model have reached a certain level of safety and suitability, and the GPT-4 model has passed the Turing test. The introduction of AIGC in the diagnosis and treatment process may provide technical support for the rational use of clinical traditional Chinese medicine.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluatethe curative effect of the integrative treatment of point injection, warm acupuncture and Chinese medicine enema for the chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods A total of 86 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory diseasewere divided into control group and treatment group, 43 patients in each group , according to the random number table. The control group was treated by warm acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine enema, while the treatment group was treated with point injection plus the basis of control group. The levels of serum CRP, IL-1 and IL-6 were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, the plasma viscosity and hematocrit were detected by automatic blood rheological test instrument, the symptom scores of 2 groups were compared before and after treatment, the clinical efficacy was evaluated and the recurrence rate was observed. Results The clinical effective rate of treatment group patients was 97.7% (42/43), and the control group 81.4% (35/43). The difference between two groups was significant (χ2=6.081,P=0.014). After treatment, the levels of CRP (7.53 ± 3.44 mg/L vs. 10.11 ± 3.02 mg/L,t=-3.696), IL-1β (26.37 ± 13.98 pg/mL vs. 36.33 ± 4.02 pg/mL,t=-4.490) andIL-6 (23.31 ± 10.11 pg/mlvs. 29.56 ± 4.27 pg/ml,t=-3.734)in the treatment group were significant lower than those in control group (P<0.05). The scores of pain (2.13 ± 0.55vs.2.71 ± 0.62,t=-4.589), tiredness (1.07 ± 0.98 vs. 2.53 ± 0.52,t=-8.630), Body cold (1.51 ± 0.51 vs. 2.21 ± 0.67,t=-5.451), menstrual symptoms (1.27 ± 0.97 vs. 2.29 ± 0.78, t=-5.374) and total points (6.13 ± 3.94vs. 8.55 ± 1.82,t=-3.656) in the treatment group were significant lower than those in control group (P<0.05). The plasma viscosity (1.13 ± 0.25 mPa?svs. 1.41 ± 0.32 mPa?s,t=-4.521) and the red blood cells deposited (0.27% ± 0.08% vs. 0.41% ± 0.07%,t=-8.636) in the treatment group were significant lower than those in control group (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of treatment group was none, while 11.43% (4/35) in control group. Thus, the recurrence rate of treatment group was significantly lower than the control group (χ2=5.063,P=0.024). Conclusions The integrative treatment of point injection, warm acupuncture and Chinese medicine enema can reduce the level of inflammatory factors in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, improve the blood microcirculation, and reduce the recurrence rate.

ABSTRACT

Leukemia is a kind of cloning disease from malignant hematopoietic stem cells. Its patho-genesis may have relationship with proliferation out of control, dysdiffreentiation and inhibition of apoptosis about leukemia cells. The study confirms that CD44 is expressed in leukemia cells, promoting the occurrence and development of leukemia through participation in cell adhension, proliferation, migration and invasion behavior. In vitro experiment shows that CD44 targeted therapies can effectively kill leukemia cells, and reduce the toxicity to normal tissue cells. Therefore, aiming at the design of the anticancer drugs targeted for CD44 is expected to be used in clinical treatment of leukemia.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the characteristics of narcissism in a sample of violent criminal and analyze the relationship between narcissism and impulsive-premeditated violent aggression. Methods A total of 88 violent criminal were administered by means of cluster random sampling with the Chinese version of the Impulsivepremeditated Aggression Scale and the Narcissistic Personality Questionnaire. Results (1) Comparing with the impulsive violent criminal, premeditated violent criminal had higher level of Overt narcissism, and the difference was statistically significant(59.77±10.89,54.67±10.15; P<0.05).(2) Overt narcissism had significantly positive correlation with premeditated aggression(r=0.560; P<0.01) ;and covert narcissism had significantly positive correlation with impulsive aggression(r=0.440; P<0.01).(3)The authority and self-admiration traits of overt narcissism had significantly positive prediction to premeditated aggression(β=0.442,P<0.01;β=0.297,P<0.05);The vulnerability trait of covert narcissism has significantly positive prediction to impulsive aggression(β=0.526,P<0.01).Conclusion Overt narcissism can result in premeditated aggression;Covert narcissism can result in impulsive aggression.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the relationship between humor style and attribution style. Methods A total of 193 college students were studied by means of cluster random sampling with the Students Humor Style Questionnaire and the Multidimensional Multiattributional Causality Scale. Results (1) Self-enhancing humor had positive correlation with internal control, controllability and stability(r =0.293,0.308,0.172; P< 0.01).Affiliative humor had no positive correlation with attribution style.Aggressive humor and self-defeating humor had positive correlation with internal control (r =0.146,0.167 ; P < 0.01),external control (r =0.402,0.339 ; P <0.01),stability(r=0.286,0.306 ; P<0.01) and instability(r =0.296,0.227; P < 0.01).(2) Self-enhancing humor could predict internal control and controllability significantly;and aggressive humor and self-defeating humor has significantly positive prediction to stability, instability, internal control and external control. Conclusion Humor style has significant correlation with attribution style.Humor style can predict attribution style in some degree.
