ABSTRACT

The morbidity and mortality of pancreatic cancer are increasing year by year, and the risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients with pancreatic cancer is significantly increased, especially in the local advanced stage, metastatic stage and chemotherapy period. The patient's condition is often complicated by VTE events, which further increases the risk of death. This article reviews the latest literature, discusses the occurrence, development and clinical outcome of VTE in patients with pancreatic cancer, and introduces the research progress of pancreatic cancer VTE from the perspective of epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, prevention and treatment strategies.

ABSTRACT

Nowadays, nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs) are important drugs for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and can suppress the virus through inhibiting the activity of hepatitis B virus (HBV) polymerase. However, rtA181 mutation in HBV can reduce the sensitivity of HBV to various NAs, which brings new challenges to antiviral therapy. This article briefly introduces the research advances in the clinical detection rate of rtA181 mutation and its influence on therapeutic effect and prognosis.

ABSTRACT

Objective To probe into the effect of nursing intervention on patients complicated with venous thrombosis after craniotomy. Methods From January 2008 to December 2009 42 patients complicated with venous thrombosis after craniotomy were selected and randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 21 patients in each. Two groups were treated with the conventional drugs and postoperative care, and the intervention group was, on the basis of the same care, offered systematic nursing intervention, and the indicators such as the clinical efficacy and GCS score of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the cure rate and total effective rate of the intervention group was significantly improved, but the inefficiency was significantly reduced, and the GCS score was significantly increased, the differences had statistical significance. Conclusions Nursing intervention plays a key role on the prognosis and functional recovery of patients complicated with venous thrombosis after brain surgery. It is an indispensable auxiliary therapy for these patients.
