ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of biofeedback electrical stimulation plus pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) after total hysterectomy. Methods The research objects who underwent total hysterectomy and complicated SUI were selected from January 2014 to December 2017 in our hospital. They were randomly divided into two groups:the study group (n =55) received biofeedback electrical stimulation plus PFMT treatment, while the control group (n=55) received PFMT treatment only.To record and compare the efficacy related indicators of the two groups. Results The indexes and scores of 3/6 months in the two groups were significantly improvedafter treatment. After 3 months the treatment, the study group had less leakage of urine [(4.3 ± 1.2)g vs (5.7 ± 1.9) g],better recovery of muscle strength of Ⅰ/Ⅱ muscle fibers [(3.5 ± 0.9) grade vs (2.8 ± 1.1) grade &(3.7 ± 0.6) grade vs (3.2 ± 1.2) grade],and better score of international consultation on incontinence questionnaire-short form (ICI-Q-SF) questionnaire [(2.7 ± 1.4) vs (4.5 ± 2.2)] compared with the control group, with statistically significant difference (P ≤ 0.05).After 6 months treatment, compared with the contiol group, the study group had less leakage of urine pad test [(1.4 ± 0.7) g vs (2.6 ± 1.1) g],better recovery of muscle strength of type Ⅰ/Ⅱ muscle fiber [(4.2 ±0.8) grade vs (3.5 ± 1.1)grade & (4.7 ±0.5) grade vs (4.0 ±0.9)grade],and better ICI-Q-SF score [(2.7 ± 1.4) vs (4.5 ±2.2)] (P ≤0.05).Conclusions Compared with using the PFMT alone, biofeedback electrical stimulation plus PFMT treatment had less leakage, better pelvic floor muscle strength and better subjective symptoms.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical efficacy and adverse reactions(ADRs)of 4 kinds of the second-generation anti-psychotic drugs in the treatment of acute phase of schizophrenia. METHODS:159 patients with schizophrenia were randomly divid-ed into risperidone group(40 cases),olanzapine group(40 cases),aripiprazole group(39 cases)and ziprasidone group(40 cas-es). All groups were given routine dosage of relevant medicine by routine usage for 6 weeks. Mental status of patients were mea-sured by PANSS before treatment and after 2,4 and 6 weeks of treatment. At the same time, blood glucose, blood lipid,prolac-tion and other metabolic and biological indicators were all detected. RSESE,BARS and UKU were adopted to evaluate ADR. RE-SULTS:A total of 100 patients completed the study. Compared with aripiprazole group and ziprasidone group, risperidone and olan-zapine inhibited symptom more rapidly, with statistical significance (P<0.05). After treatment, body mass index and abdominal circumference of olanzapine group were significantly higher than those of other 3 groups, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Low density lipoprotein of olanzapine group was increased significantly, there was statistical significance compared to ziprasidone group and aripiprazole group(P<0.05). Prolactin level of risperidone group was significantly higher than those of other 3 groups, while that of aripiprazole group was significantly lower than those of other 3 groups, with statistical significance(P<0.05). ADRs of 4 drugs were mild or moderate, most of whom could be alleviated by symptomatic treatment. CONCLUSIONS:In the treatment of acute phase schizophrenia,4 drugs of the second-generation have similar curative effect in symptoms control, among which ris-peridone and olanzapine inhibit positive symptom more rapidly while more ADRs that related to lipid and glucose metabolism and prolactin also show. Aripiprazole and ziprasidone induce less ADRs relatively, and patients show better tolerability. Physicians should consider all kinds of factors in drugs selection, and make individualized treatment plan.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the expression levels and clinical significances of ubiquitin-like with PHD and ring finger domains 1 (UHRF1) and P53 in colon carcinoma. Methods The expressions of UHRF1 and P53 in 70 colon cancer tissues and 30 normal colon ones were detected by means of immunohistochemistry to analyze the correlation of these two proteins in the occurrence and development of colon carcinoma, and the relationship between their expressions and clinico-pathological factors as well as prognosis was discussed. Results The expression levels of UHRF1 and P53 in cancer tissues were significantly higher than those of cancer-adjacent tissues (87.1% vs.56.7%,x2 =11.366,P =0.001;64.3% vs.6.7%,x2 =27.988,P =0.000) and showed a positive correlation between the two proteins (r =0.248,P =0.038).Both UHRF1 and P53 were associated with TNM stages (x2 =4.426,P =0.049;x2 =6.000,P =0.016) and the depth of invasion (x2 =12.553,P =0.002;x2 =4.904,P =0.036).However,they were irrelevant with the age (x2 =0.473,P=0.494;x2 =0.090,P=0.799) and gender (x2 =2.297,P=0.166;x2 =0.512,P=0.617) of patients,as well as the size (x2 =0.638,P =0.481;x2 =2.392,P =0.215) and histological grading of tumors (x2 =2.088,P =0.352;0.303,P =0.859).Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the median survival time of patients with UHRF1,P53 positive expression was 21.83 months that was lower than patients with UHRF1 positive expression of 24.49 months (Z =-0.624,P =0.533).Both former of which was distinctly lower than that of negative ones of 37.33 months (Z =-2.856,P =0.004;Z =-2.694,P =0.007).Conclusion Both UHRF1 and P53 are highly expressed in colon cancer tissues, which imply that UHRF1 and P53 may be strongly related with colon cancer development and can be a predictor for colon cancer prognosis.

ABSTRACT

The issue of elder abuse not only influence on the elders' physical and mental health seriously, but also increase the social burden of geriatrics disease and the corresponding social welfare agencies. The text reviews the general concept, type and characteristics, total incidence rate and all kinds of abuse, and risk factors of social psychology and psychopathology, thus the elder abuse can be identificated and intervented.
