ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the application effects of a one-time filling root canal in root canal therapy in plateau areas and evaluate its feasibility in oral clinic in plateau areas.Methods:Sixty-eight patients who received root canal therapy for anterior teeth and premolars (75 teeth) from August to December 2018 in Shannan People's Hospital were included in this study. They were divided into control group ( n = 33; 36 teeth) and observation group ( n = 35; 39 teeth) according to odd and even numbers of admission date. Patients in the control group received conventional root canal therapy and those in the observation group underwent one-time root canal filling therapy. Efficacy was compared between the two groups. Results:After 1 week, 2 weeks and 1 month of treatment, the success rate in the control group was 88.9%, 94.4%, 100.0%, respectively, and it was 87.2%, 94.9% and 100.0%, respectively in the observation group. There was no significant difference in success rate between the two groups at three time points studied (all P > 0.05). Conclusion:One-time filling root canal therapy can achieve ideal therapeutic effects under strict control of surgical indications. This method is worthy of clinical promotion especially in plateau areas.

ABSTRACT

After the problems in military postgraduate information literacy education were analyzed, the construction of a systematic and coherent information literacy education course system for military postgraduates in close combination with their subjects was proposed by setting up multidimensional education target, designing three-stage foundation-subject-innovation course, combining traditional literature retrieval course and embedded professional course, combining case teaching, heuristic discussion and innovative talent information literacy training approach, by infiltrating the physical and virtual space both in and outside university, and by participating in the study and research activities of postgraduates.

ABSTRACT

The practical experiences with subject service in Medical Library of Chinese PLA were summarized in terms of the establishment of user information records, accumulation and summation of information, and construc-tion of information platform. Suggestions were put forward for the improvement of subject service in Medical Library of Chinese PLA, such as holding the big information concept in the big data era, using the biomedical data as the target of study, providing various kinds of service, integrating seamless, dynamic and interactive library service into user service. The fact that focus on artificial intelligence, computer, information and coomunication technologies is one of the future directions was pointed out.

ABSTRACT

Syndromic surveillance , based on non-specific pre-diagnosis and other information , is capable of nearly real-time detection and early warning of potential bioterrorism and emerging infectious threats .Developed countries , led by the U.S., have conducted in-depth and front research in this area while China has just started syndromic surveillance re -search in the exploratory trial stage .The Chinese army is facing an urgent need for syndromic surveillance .This paper makes a case study of foreign military syndromic surveillance practices , typically the U.S.representative system ESSENSE , which was developed by the U .S.Department of Defense and deployed in all military treatment facilities .Some suggestions for the Chinese army are also discussed .

ABSTRACT

AIM To investigate the role of Trp3 in the Ca 2+ influx induced by ? 1B AR in HEK293 cells and the effect of tyrosine kinase on it. METHODS With lipofect AMINE2000 reagent, hTrp3 cDNA was transfected to HEK293 cells and ? 1B HEK293 cells respectively. The expression of Trp3 was examined by Western blot. With Fura 2/AM spectrophoto fluorometry, Ca 2+ influx was determined. RESULTS HTrp3 was expressed endogenously in HEK293 cells, and the expression increased in hTrp3 transfected cells. Compared with untransfected cells, transfection of hTrp3 cDNA increased Ca 2+ influx induced by ? 1B AR ( P 0 05). 5~30 ?mol?L -1 genistein inhibited Ca 2+ influx induced by ? 1B AR in hTrp3 cDNA transfected cells and the maximum inhibitory rate was (75 2?12 6)% . CONCLUSION Transfection of hTrp3 cDNA increased Ca 2+ influx induced by ? 1B AR in HEK293 cells. This process was regulated by tyrosine kinase.
