ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the correlation between the serum 25-(OH)D 3, adiponectin (APN), and chemerin levels of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and insulin resistance. Methods:28 pregnant women with GDM were selected for the study group from May 2020 to December 2021, and 45 pregnant women with normal glucose tolerance were selected for the control group. 25-(OH)D 3, APN, chemerin, islet resistance index (HOMA-IR), fasting blood glucose, fasting insulin, and HbA1c were compared between the two groups. The correlation between 25-(OH)D 3, APN, chemerin, and GDM insulin resistance was analyzed. Results:Fasting blood glucose, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, and chemerin in the GDM group were higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05), while 25-(OH)D 3 and APN were lower than those in the control group (all P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in HbA1c between the two groups. Logistic regression analysis showed that serum 25-(OH)D 3, APN, and chemerin were all related influencing factors of GDM (all P<0.05). Spearman's correlation analysis showed that serum 25-(OH)D 3 was negatively correlated with fasting blood glucose and HOMA-IR (all P<0.05), chemerin was positively correlated with fasting insulin and HOMA-IR (all P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of 25-(OH)D 3 was 0.841 (95% CI: 0.746~0.967). AUC of APN was 0.678 (95% CI: 0.545~0.812). AUC of chemerin AUC was 0.360 (95% CI: 0.233~0.487). Conclusions:The levels of 25-(OH)D 3, APN, and chemerin have a certain correlation with the pathogenesis of GDM, which has a certain reference value for the prediction of GDM.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects and safety of Bencycloquidium bromide nasal spray in the treatment of acute rhinitis after a cold. METHODS:A multicenter, dose parallel controlled,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled clinical tri-al was conducted. Two hundred and thirty-eight patients with acute rhinitis after a cold were selected and divided into group A(24 cases),B(24 cases),C(24 cases),D(24 cases),E(23 cases),F(24 cases),G(23 cases),H(24 cases),I(24 cases),J (24 cases). Group A-C were given Bencycloquidium bromide nasal spray 22.5μg,45μg,90μg,respectively,bid,spraying it once for each nostril. Group D-F were given Bencycloquidium bromide nasal spray 22.5 μg,45 μg,90 μg,respectively, tid, spraying it once for each nostril. Group G-I were given Bencycloquidium bromide nasal spray 22.5 μg,45 μg,90 μg,respectively,qid,spray-ing it once for each nostril. Group J was given placebo. All groups were treated for(4±1)d. Rhinorrhea score and continuous rhi-norrhea duration were compared among 10 groups, and the safety was evaluated. RESULTS:The rhinorrhea score and continuous rhinorrhea duration of 10 groups were improved significantly, with statistical significance (P0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR among 10 groups(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Bencycloquidium bromide nasal spray with 90 μg,qid times significantly improves rhinorrhea score and continuous rhinorrhea duration with good safety.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To investigate the variety of main pathogenic bacteria and their resistance in urinary system infection of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)in endocrinology department of our hospital and find out the best choice antibacterials of application.METHODS By retrospective analysis of clinical history, the results of urine bacterial culture, drug sensitivity reports of T2DM patients with urinary system infection were analyzed. The data were dealed with SPSS 11.0.RESULTS The drugs of experiential therapy were mainly quinolones. And drug resistant rates of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus epidermidis to levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin were 18.2% and 63.6%,and 16.7% and 50.0% respectively. The treatment periods of 2 groups were(8.4?4.3)d and(10.4?5.4)d,respectively.CONCLUSIONS ?-Lactam/?-lactamase inhibitor and aminoglycosides are the first choice in experiential therapy.Thetreatment periods could be decreased according to bacterial culturingresults.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate efficacy and safety of locally-produced pazufloxacin mesilate sodium chloride injection in the treatment of bacterial infections of respiratory and urinary tract. Methods A multi-center double-blind randomized controlled clinical trial was carried out to evaluate efficacy and safety of pazufloxacin mesilate sodium chloride in treatment for acute bacterial infection, as compared to those of levofloxacin hydrochloride and glucose injection as control treatment.A total of 244 patients with acute bacterial infection of respiratory and urinary tract were enrolled in the studies.120 in trial group and 120 in control group, with four withdrawals.Pazufloxacin mesilate and levofloxacin were administered intravenously by drip at a dose of 300 mg and 200 mg, every 12 hours for 7 to 14 days for trial and control groups, respectively.Resuits Overall efficacy of pazufloxacin mesilate was 77.0 percent and 93.5 percent in treatment for acute bacterial infections of respiratory and urinary tract.respectively, and that of levofloxacin was 80.6 percent and 89.6 percent, respectively.Overall bacterial clearance rate WaS 91.5 percent for pazufloxacin mesilate, 89.6 percent for respiratory tract infection and 94.1 percent for urinary tract infection, respectively.and 93.4 percent for levofloxacin, 97.3 percent for respiratory tract infection and 89.7 percent for urinary tract infection, respectively. No significant difference in adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P>0.05)was found, with 4.88 percent and 7.44 percent for trial and control groups, respectively. Conclusions Pazufloxacin mesilate sodium chloride injection produced locally is a safe and effective antibiotic in treatment for acute infections of respiratory and urinary tract.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the influence of three kinds of different Ca~(2+) concentration of dialysate on serum calcium,calcium-phosphorus product, serum PTH and CRP in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods 45 patients of maintenance hemodialysis with ages ≥18 years were selected. They were divided randomly three groups, and be given three different kinds of Ca~(2+) concentration of dialysate to carry out hemodialysis with 3 months. Then the patients' variation of blood pressure and whether there were low calcium spasm or ostealgia were abserved during hemodialysis whole range. In addition, changes of their serum calcium、phosphorus、iPTH and CRP at pretherapy and three months after reatment were also detected. Results After three months of hemodialysis, serum iPTH in patients with low Ca~(2+) concentration dialysate increased obviously, and the serum CRP decreased significantly(P0.05),and serum CRP increase notably(P

ABSTRACT

0.05).The concentration of IL-6 in sputum of multi-virus infection group(122.51?39.86)ng/L was higher than in single virus infection group(65.30?34.92)ng/L.The concentration of IL-6 in sputum of bacteria-virus mixed infection group(120.31?46.62)ng/L was higher than in bacteria or virus single infection group(83.61?47.83)ng/L.Conclusion Streptococcus pneumonia and influenza virus A infection are important factors in AECOPD at early stage.Virus infection would prolong recovery time, increase inflammation of the airway and even induce bacteria infection. Therefore,we should pay more attention to the virus infection in COPD patients, especially A-type influenza virus.
