ABSTRACT

Objective@#To construct an evaluation index system to assess the response capacity of universities to public health emergencies, so as to provide a basis for improvements the response capacity.@*Methods@#In November 2019, in order to develop an evaluation system based on literature review and expert discussions, 15 experts were invited to conduct a subjective evaluation used hierarchical analysis. The objective evaluation was conducted in 120 universities in Jiangsu Province used the inverse entropy weighting method, and the final evaluation employed the joint subjective and objective weighting method.@*Results@#The indicator system consisted of four primary indicators, nine secondary indicators, 32 tertiary indicators and 67 quaternary indicators. The analysis of the combined weighting method showed that the primary indicators, in descending order, included incident handling capability ( 0.666 ), incident detection capability (0.203), prior preparation capability (0.101) and post event recovery capability ( 0.031 ). The top three secondary indicator weights were emergency response (0.480), monitoring and reporting (0.203) and command and coordination (0.151). The results of the evaluation of the consistency indicators showed that the expert authority coefficient was 0.909 and the Kendall s W coordination coefficient was 0.836 ( P <0.01), with all consistency scale values < 0.1.@*Conclusion@#The evaluation system is highly scientific and credible, and provides basis for evaluating the response capability of universities to public health emergencies.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore whether CT perfusion imaging (CTPI)parameters can early predict the curative effect of anlotinib hydrochloride and their predictive accuracy for the treatment in lung cancer patients. Methods 2 6 patients with advanced nonGsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC)were treated with anlotinib hydrochloride and underwent CTPI scanning before chemotherapy, after the first and second treatment cycle respectively. The average values of perfusion value (PV),peak enhancement image (PEI),time to peak (TTP),blood volume (BV)and the change rate of these parameters after one treatment cycle every time were measured and recorded. According to the response evaluation criteria in solid tumors 1.1 (RECIST1.1),the maximum diameter of the target tumor was measured and the tumor regression rate after two treatment cycles was calculated. Then a correlation analysis was conducted between the change rate of perfusion parameters (PV%,PEI%,TTP%,BV%)after one treatment cycle and the tumor regression rate (D%)after two treatment cycles. The ROC curve was performed to evaluate the accuracy of those parameters. Results PV after one treatment cycle was significantly lower than that before treatment, and PV% showed a statistical difference (P=0.00).The PV% after one treatment cycle was positively correlated with D% after two treatment cycles (r=0.56).In addition, the AUC of PV% and BV% were 0.99 and 0.88 respectively, and specificity were both 100%,with sensitivity respectively 75.7% and 82.6%.Conclusion CTPI can early reflect the curative effect of anlotinib hydrochloride for advanced NSCLC and provide more options for clinical evaluation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the correlation between CT characters and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutations in lung adenocarcinoma. Methods Two hundred and three lung adenocarcinoma patients (from September,2014 to March,2015) confirmed by pathology were divided into effective mutation group (97 cases) and non?effective mutation group (106 cases) on the basis of the site and the response to tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Among all the CT characters, rank?sum test was adopted to analyze the difference of diameter between the two groups; Fisher's exact test was applied to explain the difference of density type and Chi?square test was applied to analyze the difference of lobulation, spiculation, necrosis, pleural indentation, cavitation and air?brochogram signs. Logistic regression was used to analyze the significant signs and evaluate the odds ratio (OR). Results There were 65, 67, 45, 74 cases of lobulation, spiculation, necrosis, pleural indentation in the EGFR gene effective mutation group and 56, 51, 26, 61 cases in non?effective mutation group with statistically significant difference between the two groups (χ2=4.230, 9.141, 10.646, 7.986, P0.05). Logistics regression analysis showed that, spiculation (OR=2.120), necrosis (OR=2.853) and pleural indentation (OR=2.094) were in correlation with EGFR effective mutations, and lobulation was not in correlation with EGFR effective mutations. Conclusions Among all the CT sings, spiculation, necrosis and pleural indentation were in correlation with EGFR gene effective mutation, they were more likely to appear in lung adenocarcinoma patients with EGFR gene effective mutation.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture on basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), Desmin and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK1/2) expression of rabbits with acute lumbar muscle contusion, and discuss the possible mechanism of muscle tissue regeneration and repair. Methods 40 male New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into blank group (BG, n=10), model group (MG, n=10), Weizhong (BL40) electroacupuncture group (WG, n=10) and local electroacupuncture group (LG, n=10). Lumbar muscle injury was established with blunt trauma, and the rabbits were assessed with Appearance Score. The WG and LG accepted electroacupuncture for 2 weeks after modeling. The lumbar muscle of each animal was stained with HE to observe pathological changes, and immunohistochemical staining was used to observe bFGF expression, and Western blotting was used to detect the expression of Desmin and ERK1/2 protein. Results Appearance Score was more in the MG, WG and LG than in the BG (P<0.01). Histological score ranked from more to less as MG,LG, WG and BG (P<0.05). The expression of bFGF ranked as LG, WG, MG and BG (P<0.01), Desmin ranked as WG=LG and BG=MG (P<0.05), ERK1/2 as LG=WG, MG and BG (P<0.05). Conclusion Electroacupuncture could promote the regeneration and repair of tissue after acute lumbar muscle contusion, which may be related to the up-regulation of bFGF/ERK signaling pathway.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Comparing with diabetic nephropathy and diabetic retinopathy, diabetic cardiomyopathy is put forward exceeded later and the research about it was not enough. It is difficult to detect diabetic cardiomyopathy in the earlier period so that it has usually been neglected.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate features of dysfunction of left ventricle in early diabetic cardiomyopathy by Doppler tissue imaging.DESIGN: Completely randomized and controlled experiment.SETTING: Ultrasound Department of General Hospital of Chengdu Military Area Command of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS: The experiment was carried out at Ultrasound Department of General Hospital of Chengdu Military Area Command of Chinese PLA from March to June 2002. Totally 56 New Zealand rabbits of either gender were selected.METHODS: ① Ten New Zealand rabbits was pulled out randomly from 56 as control group. The rest of 46 New Zealand rabbits were replicated diabetes mellitus by Streptozotocin (STZ), rabbits were absolute diet 18 hours and injected intravenously to ear marginal vein with 65 mg/kg of STZ. Then these rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups as 2, 4, 6, 8th experimental group, with 10 rabbits in each group. ② Digit ultrasonic cardiogram equipment was used to examined interventricular motion of mitral annulus at 2nd,4th, 6th and 8th week in model groups and comparison group. The parameters such as systolic peak velocity (Sa), preejection period (PEP), local ejection time (ET), systolic mean velocity (Vm) of four various portions in mitral annulus and diastole early period velocity (Ea), diastole later period velocity (Aa), Ea/Aa were determined. ③ SPSS 11.0 was used for statistical analysis,one-factor analysis was adopted to compare difference of groups.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The motion of lateral wall and posterior interventricular septum at mitral annulus were estimated by PW-DTI.RESULTS: Among 56 rabbits, 50 entered the final analysis and other 6 were lost because of failure modeling. Diastole dysfunction of left ventricle was discovered in STZ-inducod diabetic rabbits detected by tissue Doppler imaging at the 4th week. It showed that not only the tite of early period of diastole peak velocity (Ea) in mitral ring lateral wall and post-interval of left ventricle was reduced, but also the tite of Ea/Aa was reduced notably (P < 0.05). Systolic dysfunction of left ventricle was discovered in STZ-in-duced diabetic rabbits detected by tissue Doppler imaging at the 6th week.It showed that local contraction peak velocity (Sa) of lateral wall and postseptum of mitral ring was decreased strikingly (P < 0.05). Mean systole velocity of four various parts of mitral ring (Vm) was reduced at the 6th week (P < 0.05). Pre-ejection period time (PEP) at post-septum and ejection time (ET) was elongated at lateral wall at the 8th week (P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: ① Diastolic dysfunction of left ventricle is characterized by decrease of early period of diastole peak velocity and the tite of Ea/Aa.② Systolic dysfunction of diabetic cardiomyopathy is characterized by decrease of local contraction peak velocity and elongation of pre-ejection period time and ejection time.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Acute coronary syndrome(ACS) are a result of the rupture of unstable atherosclerotic plaques and thrombosis. Matrix metalloprotei nases (MMPs) are believed to play an important role in vascular remodeling and plaque instability by degrading the extracellular matrix.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the possible impact of polymorphisms in matrix metalloproteinase-3 and -12 genes on the risk of ACS in Chinese Han population.DESIGN: A case-control study based on ACS patients as subjects and healthy population as the control group.SETTING: Department of clinical tests of a university hospital and the department of biochemistry and molecular biology of a medical college PARTICIPANTS: A total of 103 patients with ACS(outpatients and inpatients received and hospitalized from March 2002 to December 2003 at the People' s Armed Police Hubei General Hospital,Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University and Liyuan Hospital of Huazhong University of Science and Technology) were involved and were divided into ACS group and the normal control group. For the ACS group, there were 73 males and 30 females with an average age of(53±10) years, including 47 cases of acute cardiac infarction and 56 cases of unstable cardiac angina. For the normal control group, there were 100 healthy subjects as controls, including 67 males and 33 females with an average age of(52±12) years. All the subjects were Chinese Han Population in Hubei Province, and they were voluntary to participate in the study.METHODS: Polymerase chain reaction(PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism(RFLP) techniques were used to examine the MMP-3-1612 5A/6A and MMP-12 -82 A/G gene polymorphisms respectively.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The genotypes of and the allele frequencies in the patients and the individuals in the control group.RESULTS: The prevalence of 5A/6A +5A/5A genotype(41.7% vs 24%,x2 =6. 447,P<0.05) and5A allele (21.8% vs 13%,χ2 =4. 906,P<0.05) of MMP-3 gene were significantly more frequent in the ACS group than in the control subjects. The odds ratio of the 5A/6A +5A/5A was 2. 269(95% CI,1.241 to 4. 149,P<0.01). No significant difference was detected between the patients and the control group in genotype and allele distribution of the MMP-12 -82 A/G gene polymorphism(P>0.05).CONCLUSION: These findings indicate that the 5A/6A polymorphism of MMP-3 gene is associated with the risk of ACS,and might play an important role in the development of coronary atherosclerosis..This conclusion provides experimental data for gene study of the coronary disease and primary intervention for rehabilitation.
