ABSTRACT

Ninety eight patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) admitted to Department of Infectious Diseases, Yongkang First People′s Hospital from January 2017 to June 2018 were randomly divided into two groups. On the basis of entecavir+dicyclool treatment, patients in control group (48 cases) received health education and weekly telephone follow-up from the nurses, while patients in intervention group (50 cases) received health guidance from doctors and psychological counseling and communication from the nurses. All patients were followed up for 8 weeks. The illness perception, negative emotions, quality of life, and medication compliance were evaluated with the Revised Illness Perception Questionnaire (IPQ-R), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), SF-36 and Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) in two groups, respectively. The results showed that, after 8 weeks, the disease identity, serious consequences, treatment control and disease correlation; SAS and SDS scores; physiological function, emotional function, energy and social function were significantly improved in control group( t=2.30, 3.45, 2.35, 2.23, 5.04, 6.03, 2.03, 2.79, 2.02, 2.34, all P<0.05). All dimension of illness perception; SAS and SDS scores; physiological function, physiological function, emotional function, energy, mental health, social function and general health were also improved significantly in intervention group ( t=4.06, 5.44, 6.91, 8.53, 5.65, 8.77, 7.25, 6.06; 12.71, 11.91, 2.27, 2.60, 4.48, 2.82, 3.65, 3.461, 2.82,all P<0.05). And the personal control, disease correlation and emotional expression; SAS and SDS scores; emotional function and mental health in intervention group were better than those in control group ( t=1.49, 2.74, 2.60, 5.02, 5.18, 5.56, 13.72, all P<0.05). In addition, the medication compliance of patients in both groups was significant improved ( Z=5.56, 13.72, all P<0.01), and the improvement was more marked in the intervention group ( Z=3.22, P<0.01). The study indicates that the comprehensive psychotherapy can more significantly improve the degree of illness perception, negative emotions, quality of life and medication compliance in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

ABSTRACT

Background and Objectives@#Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) is an ideal source of stem cells in the treatment of intrauterine adhesion. Exosomes are a type of membrane vesicle and the diameter is 30∼100 nm. Exosomes can take their contents into the target cells, releasing and exerting their functions. In this study, we intend to study the role of human BMSC-derived exosomes (BMSC-Exo) in promoting endometrial damage repair in the treatment of IUA. @*Methods@#We used the magnetic bead affinity method to extract BMSC-Exo and analyzed its biological character. Then we co-cultured the BMSCs-Exo with endometrial cells to detect its effect. We injected BMSCs-Exo into the IUA mouse model. We over-expressed miR-29a in BMSCs-Exo by transient transfection, then used RT-PCR to analyze the expression of the related genes. @*Results@#BMSCs-Exo expressed exosome-specific proteins CD9, CD63, and CD81. BMSCs-Exo could bring the contents into the target cells. BMSCs-Exo can promote endometrial repair in vitro or in vivo. BMSCs-Exo overexpressing miR-29a can reduce αSMA, Collagen I, SMAD2, and SMAD3. @*Conclusions@#In this study, we successfully isolated BMSCs-Exo and proved its character and biological activity. BMSCs-Exo can promote cell proliferation and cell migration in vitro and can repair damaged endometrium in the IUA model. The presence of miR-29a in BMSCs-Exo may be an important factor in its resistance to fibrosis during endometrial repair of IUA. This study provides new ideas for the treatment of patients with IUA and has important clinical research significance.

ABSTRACT

This paper is focused on head modeling using the sophisticated realistic finite element method (FEM) with five-layer tissues based on segmented data. First, the location of every pixel of the FEM head model was fixed on according to the registration method based on the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computer tomography (CT) images. Then the location information was rebuilt with the hexahedron pattern in the ANSYS FEM software. Finally, the forward problem numerical computation was performed on this FEM head model. The simulation results verified the rationality and reliability of the model applied on the electroencephalograph (EEG)/magnetoencephalograph (MEG) study. The hexahedron meshing realistic head model combined with the MRI scanner information has potential in the future research of EEG/MEG.

ABSTRACT

The study intended to evaluate the efficacy and safety of patient-controlled intravenous analgesia with remifentanil for labor. Three hundred and two parturients at 37 -42 week of gestation received remifentanil (0. 1μg · kg-1 ·min-1 ) as patient-controlled intravenous analgesia for labor (analgesia group) and their clinical results were compared with those of 221 parturients in labor without intravenous analgesia (control group). Maternal monitoring, including pain scores(VAS), delivery mode, side effects, laboring time was performed for both groups. There was a significant decrease (P <0. 01) of pain scores in analgesia group compared with those in control group. Parturients in analgesia group experienced a significantly shorter first stage, than those in the control group ( P < 0. 01). There were no differences between two groups in the rate of cesarean section and instrumental delivery. And there were no significant differences for newborns with Apgar scores less than 7 at the point of one minute. Patient-controlled intravenous analgesia with remifentanil for labor is an effective and safe procedure, which can significantly relieve pain, shorten first stage of labor and has no effect on the delivery mode and Apgar scores of neonates.
