ABSTRACT
Bleeding caused by ionizing radiation involves many factors, the mechanism is complicated and the management is difficult. Bleeding is recognized as one of the main causes of death after ionizing radiation. In this paper, we summarize the pathophysiological mechanisms of ionizing radiation bleeding syndrome (IRBS) from the aspects of platelet abnormality, coagulation disorder and vascular damage. Besides, we expound the clinical characteristics of IRBS in terms of the degree, time and site of the bleeding. Combined with experimental results, we put forward ideas and possible approaches for the treatment of IRBS, and the key factor is to promote the recovery of megakaryocytes and rapid platelet production after radiation exposure.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of proximal femoral nail antirotation (PFNA) in treatment of elderly incompleted inner wall type intertrochanteric fracture. Methods:The medical records of 33 patients with incompleted inner wall type intertrochanteric fractures were analyzed retrospectively. The incision length,blood loss,operative time,volume of drainage,start standing time,fracture healing time,abnormal rate of femur and complications were summarized,and the clinical effects were also evaluated according to Harris standard. Results:A total of 31 patients achieved complete follow-up data. The fracture healing time and clinical excellent rates were (12.5 ± 3.5) weeks and 90.3%. The abnormal rate of femur operative time, incision length, blood loss, operative time, volume of drainage, and start standing time were 12.9%,(4.3 ± 2.7) cm,(50.2 ± 35.0) ml,(40.3 ± 12.7) min,(30.5 ± 9.6) ml and (10.3 ± 5.7) d. Conclusion:PFNA fixation is an ideal method for treatment of elderly incompleted inner wall type intertrochanteric fractures, with small incision, shorter operative time, shorter fracture healing time, shorter bed rest time and less complications.

Objective: To investigate the rate of post-stroke depression and psychosocial factors related to it, and to provide the direction and the basis for clinical nursing. Methods: 69 patients with stroke were assessed by Zung Self-rating Depression Scale and Type A Behavior Pattern Scale. Their sex, age, behavior type, marital condition, level of education, supportor of medical expenses were collected and analysed statistically. Objective To establish a TLC identification method for Erhuang Capsule and to provide basis for the establishment of its quality standard.Methods TLC method was adopted.Results Nine kinds of medicinal materials such as Radix Rehmanniae,Radix Polygoni Multiflori,Rhizoma Gastrodiae had discriminating characteristics and distinctive spots.Conclusion TLC is a simple,reliable and specific method with good reproducibility,and can be used for the quality control of Erhuang Capsule.
