ABSTRACT

Objective To study the diagnosis significance of MDCT scan and image post-processing technology for air-way foreign body in children. Methods Seventy cases of airway foreign body in children from January 2010 to Decem-ber 2012 were selected in our hospital, the clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. All the children had not been X-ray diagnosis pre-operation,multilayer spiral CT examination,and MPR,CTVB image post-processing technology,then bronchoscopy. Results TypeⅠand typeIIand type foreign body,X-ray,CT axial CT axial position and post-processing diagnos tic accuracy was 14.29%,64.71% and 41.67% respectively; 100.00%,94.12%,75.00%; 100.00%,98.04%,91.67%. Statistical analysis showed that CT axial position and post-processing diagnostic accuracy obviously higher than the other two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion Multislice CT scan and image post-processing technology have the high detection,and it's worth promoting in the diagnosis of pedtatric airway foreign body.
