ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the prospective coping styles of nurses in operation room of plastic surgery department and its influencing factors. Methods A total of 169 nurses of two tertiary first-class hospitals and two secondary hospitals in Yuncheng city were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling from January 2016 to January 2017, their general data, dispositional hope, occupational expectations, occupational values, occupational maturity and prospective coping styles were analyzed. The influencing factors of prospective coping style were analyzed. Results The quality of hope was (31.78±4.24) points, occupational expectation was (72.41±7.24) points, professional values were (86.63 ± 7.02) points, professional maturity was (94.58 ± 6.25) points, and prospective coping style was (40.64 ± 6.13) points in the nurses in plastic surgery operation room. The results of multivariate linear regression model showed that the longer working time, high professional title, high degree of education, high monthly income, longer working hours in plastic surgery operation room, high hope quality, high career expectation, high occupational values and high career maturity were all the prospective coping styles of nurses in the operation room. Significant factors (P <0.05). Conclusions The nurses in the plastic surgery operation room have a certain prospective coping style, improve the treatment of nurses, set up their active work goals, improve their hope traits, career expectations, occupational values and career maturity, which can significantly enhance the level of prospective coping style.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the damage effect of borneol on rabbit corneal epithelial cells. Methods After the treatment with borneol at 100, 200, 400 μg·mL-1 respectively, the viability of rabbit corneal epithelial cells was determined by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium ( MTT) assay, cell apoptosis was determined by flow cytometry with Annexin V- fluorescein isothiocyanate/propidium iodide ( FITC/PI) staining, and Caspase-3 mRNA expression was detected with real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR) . Results Borneol at the concentrations of 100, 200, 400 μg·mL-1 inhibited the activity of rabbit corneal epithelial cells. Compared with the normal control group, borneol increased the rate of apoptosis, and enhanced the Caspase-3 mRNA expression in rabbit corneal epithelial cells ( P<0.05 or P<0.01) . Conclusion Borneol can inhibit the proliferation of rabbit corneal epithelial cells, induce cell apoptosis through enhancing the expression of apoptosis-related gene Caspase-3 mRNA.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the changes of combined therapy on disci intervertebrales and their surrounding tissues and thus to determine its therapeutic effects on lubar intervertebral disc protrusion with magnafic resonance imaging. Methods After combined therapy including physical agents, drugs, traction, manipulation and remedial exercises had been adopted to treat 40 iubax intervertebral disc protrusion patients for 30 days, morphologic changes of disci intervertebrales and their surrounding tissues of these patients were observed by magnetic resonance imaging. Results The effective rate of combined therapy on lubar intervertebral disc protrusion was 82.5%, there were no obvious changes of thickness, salient degree of disci intervertebrales, anteroposterior diameter, transverse diameter and latero-cryptae extent of vertebral canal after the treatment. Conclusion Though the combined therapy can not change the morphous of lobar intervertebral disc protrusion, it may efficiently relief the clinical symptoms of patients with lobar intervertebral disc protrusion.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of 64-slice spiral computed tomography(CT) in detecting coronary artery disease. Methods Twenty-three patients with suspected coronary artery stenosis were analyzed by 64-slice spiral computed tomography coronary angiography and catheter coronary angiography. Results Two hundred and ninety -one segments of the two hundred ninety-nine coronary artery segments in twenty-three patients could be visualized by 64-slice spiral CT,eight segments couldn't be visualized because of calcification and exercising shadow. According to gold standard of selective coronary arteriongraphy,the sensibility,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value to diagnose coronary artery stenosis by 64-slice spiral CT were 88.7%,98.2%,94.0% and 96.4%.Conclusion The coronary artery stenosis diagnosis by 64 -slice spiral CT is a potential detecting method and good clinical value but could not replace selective coronary arteriongraphy.

ABSTRACT

AIM:To investigate the effects of insulin on drug sensitivity of Etoposide(Vp-16) to MBA-MD-543(human breast cancer cell line) in vitro.METHODS:Insulin was applied directly to the MBA-MD-543 cultured in vitro.The effects of insulin and Vp-16 on the number of viable cell,the total number of cells were assayed by MTT method and cell count.RESULTS: Insulin could induce the cell growth and promote the cell metabolism at the concentration(4.0)-(32.0)(mU?ml~(-1))(8-18 hours).At the condition of same density of cells,the administration of insulin((7.5)(mU?ml~(-1))) before adding Vp-16 in 9-15 h,enhanced the chemocytotoxity of Vp-16((70.09)(?g?ml~(-1))) on human breast cancer cells as indicated by MTT colorimetry.CONCLUSION: Proliferation of human breast cancer cell line can be induced by insulin,and insulin can sensitize MBA-MD-543 to the anticancer activity of Vp-16 in vitro. The key of improving the chemotherapeutic effect is the selection of revulsant occasion and concentration.It is possible to increase the growth and metabolism of cancer cells first so as to enhance the chemosensibility,and then administer chemotherapeutic agents,thus improving their theraeutic effects.
