ABSTRACT

Objective:To summarize the drug interactions of haloperidol used in combination with the other drugs to provide refer-ence for safe, reasonable and effective use of haloperidol in clinics. Methods:By retrieving Micromedex? , Pubmed, CNKI and so on, the interactions between haloperidol and the other drugs were summarized and analyzed. Results:The effect of haloperidol was on do-pamine receptors, and haloperidol was mainly metabolized by hepatic cytochrome P450 ( CYP) enzymes. When haloperidol was com-bined with the other drugs, significant interactions of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics were induced by affecting CYP enzymes or dopamine receptor. Conclusion:In clinical practice, the other drugs combined with haloperidol should be reasonable and careful to ensure safe, effective and rational drug use.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To establish an HPLC method for the determination of isomeric impurity in fasudil hydrochloride. Meth-ods:The chromatographic method was carried out on a Kromasil 100-5 Phenyl C18 column with phenyl bonded silica as the filler (250 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5 μm), and phosphate buffer (10 mmol· L-1 ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, adjusting pH to 4. 0 with 1% phos-phoric acid) -acetonitrile (80∶ 20) was used as the mobile phase. The detection wavelength was 275nm and the column temperature was 40℃. The flow rate was 1. 0 ml· min-1 , and the injection volume was 10 μl. Results:Fasudil hydrochloride and its derivative was linear within the range of 0. 148-2. 960 μg·ml-1(r=1. 0000) and 0. 101-2. 014μg·ml-1(r=0. 999 9), respectively. The av-erage recovery of isomer impurity in fasudil hydrochloride was 101. 9% with RSD of 0. 98%(n=9). Conclusion:The method is sim-ple,accurate and reproducible, which can be used for the quality control of fasudil hydrochloride and its isomer.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To analyze the utilization and tendency of oral hypoglycemic agents in some hospitals of Wuhan from 2010 to 2012. Methods:The relative data of oral hypoglycemic agents used in 32 hospitals of Wuhan area during 2010-2012 were analyzed using consumption sum, DDDs and defined daily dose as the indices. Results:The consumption sum of oral hypoglycemic agents was increased year after year;acarbose and gliclazide were widely used and occupied front places among the drugs. However, the percent-age of traditional Chinese medicine used for decreasing blood sugar was declined. Conclusion:During 2010-2012, the DDDs value and the consumption sum of oral hypoglycemic agents in Wuhan area are stable and normal, and the application will be further developed.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the effects of constraint-induced movement therapy (CIMT) on the expression of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) and glial cell derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) in Parkinson's disease (PD) model rats. MethodsPD models were established by microinjection of 6-hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA) solution into substantia nigra of rats' right cerebral hemisphere.Forty-two model rats were divided randomly into an exercise group and a control group 1 week after microinjection. The exercise group rats were forced to use their impaired limbs by placing their nonimpaired fore-limbs in casts. The control group rats were housed in the same environment without any special treatment. Two weeks after 6-OHDA infusion and exercise training, the behavioral changes of rats were examined after intraperitoneal injection apomorphine ( APO).The content of dopamine (DA) and dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) was measured by high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemistry ( HPLAEC) ; the expressions of TH and GDNF in striatum were detected by immunohistochemical methods and TH,GDNF mRNA were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).Results After 2 weeks of training, the rotating laps of the rats in exercise group within 30 min after APO induction, reduced to a significantly greater extent when compared to the control group (P < 0.05).The content of DA and it's metabolites DOPAC in striatum homogenate was significantly higher in exercise group than that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ),and the expression levels,of TH and GDNF protein/ mRNA were also significantly higher in the exercise group than those in control group ( P < 0.05 ).Conclusions CIMT can improve the behavioral performance of PD rats, probably through promoting the expressions of TH and GDNF protein/mRNA in striatum, and increasing DA and it's metabolites DOPAC level.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the clinicai effect of treating intestinal inflation after gynecogenic operation with aeupoint iniection. Methods 52 patients with intestinal inflation after gynecogenic operation were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group was treated with point injection of neostigmine on bilateral Zusanli, and the control group was treated with neostigmine by intramuscular injection. The therapeutic effects were observed in both the treatment group and the control group. Results The therapeutic effect in the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.with P<0.05.Conclusion The treatment of point injection of neostigmine on bilateral Zusanli has better effect in treating intestinal inflation after gynecogenic operation than injecting neostigmine by intramuscular.

ABSTRACT

Objective To ohserve clinical effect of adjuvant therapy of children bronchial pneumonia with complex pulse magnetic therapeutie apparatus. Methods 65 cases with children bronchial pneumonia were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group.Routine treatment was performed in the control group, while the treatment group was treated with complex pulse magnetic therapeutic apparatus plus routine treatmenL Compare the clinical effect and adverse reaction between the two groups. Results Clinical effect of the treatment group was obviously higher than that of the control group, showing a significant different(P<0.05).Moreover,no adverse reaction occurred in the treatment group. Conclusion Adjuvant therapy of children bronchial pneumonia with complex pulse magnetic therapeutic apparatus demonstrated a better effect than routine treatment. It's worthy to promote application of this therapeutic method clinically.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effectiveness of applying neuronal stem cells to bridging a 10mm long facial nerve defect in rabbits using a tissue engineered artificial nerve. METHODS Thirty-six Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups of 12. Group A: chitosan guidance channels with collagen protein sponge were filled with neuronal stem cells and NGF; Group B: chitosan guidance channels with collagen protein sponge were filled with NGF; Group C: autograft nerve. A series of examinations were performed, including electrophsiological methods, histological staining of nerve, Brdu and S100 immunohistochemical staining, at 12 weeks after operation. RESULTS At 12 weeks after operation, all examination results from Group A were better than from Group B(P0.05). CONCLUSION Neuronal stem cells can be used as seeding cells in peripheral nerve tissue engineering for repairing 10mm facial nerve defects.
