ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for improving the rationality of discharged prescriptions. METHODS:According to the prescriptions that were often judged as forbidden or not recommended (such as irrational dosage and course of treatment , off-label drug use ,drug interaction ,medication suitability ,dosage form ) in the pre-audit system of discharged prescriptions (hereinafter referred to as the “audit system ”)of Union Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University (hereinafter referred to as the“our hospital ”),combined with actual case analysis ,the clinical pharmacists looked for evidence-based evidence and evaluate it,communicated with the clinician for feedback ,maintained the content of misjudgment in the intercepted prescription in real time, set up the relevant rules of audit in the audit system ,evaluated the effect and put forward suggestions to improve the scientificity and accuracy of the audit results of the discharged prescription. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS :For prescriptions that were judged to be forbidden or not recommended by the system ,such as the limited daily dose of Morphine hydrochloride tablet in patients with cancer pain ,the daily maximum dose of calcium sulfate D 3 after thyoidetomy ,hyper-indication use of megestrol acetate after chemotherapy for rectal cancer ,off-label usage of vitamin B 6 after postpartum delivery ,the combined use of clopidogrel bisulfate and oxcarbazepine after intracranial infection ,clinical contraindication of enteral nutrition powder after intestinal obstruction ,unsuitable dose of Dabigatran ester capsule after atrial fibrillation surgery and so on ,the clinical pharmacist looked for evidence-based evidence ,evaluated and communicated with the clinician . The relevant rules were updated to the audit system in real time. On the whole ,the audit system improves the work efficiency and the scientificity and accuracy of the audit results, but it is necessary to improve the professional knowledge level of the pharmacists ,the ability to find and use evidence-based evidence ,the accuracy of the audit system and the acceptance and recognition of the audit results by doctors ,so as to enhance the rationality of the discharged prescription ,reduce medication security risks.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the status quo of job-family and family-job conflicts among the nursing of the operating room nurses.Method A total of 190 nurses from an operating room participated in the survey by demographic questionnaire and work-family conflict scale. Results The average score on job-family was (3.15 ± 0.48) and there were significant differences between family-job conflict and job-family (2.75 ± 0.27 vs.3.55 ± 0.61) (t =-10.349,P<0.05).There were significant differences in job-family conflict scores (P <0.05) in view of different age, working years, professional titles, number of night shifts per month, marital status and daily working hours. There were significant differences in family-job conflict subscale scores (P<0.05).Conclusions The job-family conflicts of the nurses in the operating room is at the middle level. The perceived job-family conflict is higher than that of the family-job conflict.Such factors as age, length of work, professional tide, number of night shifts per month, marital status and daily working hours can lead to job-family conflict among the operating room nurses. The nursing administrative should displace nursing personnel and optimize the shifts so as to reduce the rate of job-family conflicts.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical characteristics of bronchial tumors in 3 children to improve the diagnosis of pediatric bronchial tumor.

METHODSThree cases of children bronchial malignant tumors diagnosed by rigid bronchoscopy were analyzed retrospectively.

RESULTSThe 3 children were males, aged from 6 to 10 years old, and presented with cough, sputum, and fever symptoms for 1 day to 3 months. Chest CT scan and airway remodeling examinations indicated the children's main bronchi were blocked and then the diagnoses of bronchial foreign bodies were made. However bronchial tumors were found in the 3 children by rigid bronchoscopy and were determined as mucoepidermoid carcinoma, large cell lung carcinoma with rhabdoid phenotype, and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, respectively.

CONCLUSIONSChildren with bronchial tumor often present with cough, wheezing and other respiratory symptoms that are not specific to bronchial tumor. When a child complaint of repeated cough and wheezing symptoms with unknown cause, not only bronchial foreign body and also bronchial tumor should be considered.

ABSTRACT

Objective To examine the influence of systemic rehabilitation exercise on social functioning in chronic schizophrenic patients. Methods 60 qualified cases selected from chronic psychiatric inpatient department were randomly divided into two groups according to admission number (AD).30 cases in treatment group accepted hospitalized systemic rehabilitation exercise and 30 controls accepted ordinary treatment for 6 months.Social functio-ning evaluated with SSPI and PSP.Results The total score of SSPI(t=1.322,P=0.256) and PSP(t=1.563,P=0.362) were not significantly higher(P>0.05),The total score of SSPI [(37.44 ±4.33)points,t=2.719,P=0.001]and PSP[(72.14 ±6.86)points,t=3.985,P=0.000]total score in the treatment group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Systemic rehabilitation training does influence on social functioning in chronic schizophrenic patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the evaluative meaning of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)sweat detector and temperature detector to atheriosclerosis obliterans (ASO).Methods 68 limb plantar of ASO patients and 20 left plantar of healthy subjects were tested by TCM sweat detector and temperature detector to observe the differences of sweating rate and temperature between the two groups. Results ①Sweating rate and temperature of ASO patients' limb plantar showed different graphic morphology from that of healthy control group. The sweating rate of patients was worse than that of healthy subjects in responding to external stimuli.②ASO patients'limb plantar baseline values of the sweating rate and temperature were lower than that of healthy subjects, and the result was statistical significant (P<0.01).Conclusion Data obtained from TCM sweat detector and temperature detector can be used to distinguish ASO patients from healthy people.

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the effect of Schistosoma infection on the gestation in mice.\ Methods Female mice infected with Schistosoma japonicum cercariae, and mated with male mice (uninfected) at 40 d and 100 d post\|infection, the changes during pregnant period and the growth of offspring were observed until birth. The serum level of estradiol and progesterone of the infected mice was measured by RIA at oestrus.\ Results The level of estradiol and progesterone, and the pregnant rate were much lower in schistosome infected group than that of the control. The rate of abortion, the mortality of pregnant mice and the death rate due to abortion of infected mice increased significantly. The mortality increased with the time of merging ♀ and ♂mice in one cage prolonged. The body weight and length of the offspring in both infected and control groups were found no significant difference.\ Conclusion The results revealed that schistosome infection may suppress estradiol and progesterone secretion, decrease the rate of pregnancy, and that it may also increase the complications and mortality during the gestation periods.
