ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the application and effect of artificial intelligence technology in perinatal management of gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods:240 pregnant women with gestational diabetes diagnosed during 24-26 weeks of pregnancy in Changsha Maternal and Child Health Hospital were prospectively selected and randomly divided into control group (120 cases) and observation group (120 cases). The control group used the traditional management mode for nutritional management, and the observation group used AI technology for nutritional management. The weight gain, blood glucose control level, insulin use, pregnancy complications, pregnancy outcome and other indicators of the two groups were compared.Results:(1) Monitoring indicators during pregnancy: there was no significant difference in weight gain between the two groups ( P>0.05). The proportion of weight gain in the appropriate range in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P<0.05); The prevalence of full-term anemia, insulin use rate and the incidence of blood glucose exceeding the control standard in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05). (2) Pregnancy outcome: there was no significant difference in the incidence of gestational hypertension, cesarean section, fetal growth restriction, premature delivery and neonatal hypoglycemia between the two groups (all P>0.05); The incidence of conversion to cesarean section, macrosomia, neonatal blood glucose <2.6 mmol/L, mild asphyxia and admission to neurosurgical intensive care unit (NICU) in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Application of AI technology to nutritional management of gestational diabetes can better control the maternal perinatal weight gain and blood glucose level, reduce the incidence of anemia in the third trimester of pregnancy, the incidence of macrosomia, the use of insulin and the rate of conversion to cesarean section, and improve the neonatal outcome.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effect of Yang-warming and removing stagnation therapy in treating elderly functional constipation. Methods: According to the method of random numbers, 90 cases of elderly functional constipation patients were divided into treatment group and control group, two groups of 45 cases each. With the control group given Duphalac oral treatment, control group given Yang-warming and removing stagnation therapy traditional Chinese medicine orally. After treatment period of 4 weeks to observe the clinical effect of two groups of patients. Results:In the process of treatment, there was no obvious adverse reaction in the treatment group. Patients after treatment with this traditional Chinese medicine method, the total effective rate was 97.78%, significantly higher than the 88.89% in the control group, the difference statistically significant (P <0.05) . Compared with control group, treatment group after this traditional Chinese medicine method, significantly reduce major clinical symptoms integral, TCM symptom score significantly reduced, statistically significant difference (P < 0.05) . Results: Yang-warming and removing stagnation therapy has significant curative effect of treatment of elderly functional constipation.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To explore the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) protein during benzo(a)pyrene (BaP) induced carcinogenesis.@*Methods@#This study, we firstly utilized immunofluorescence assay and Western-blot to examine EGFR expression of the BaP which was constructed previously by project team induced malignant transformation human bronchial epithelial cell (BTC) and the control (16HBE cell). Then, we selected 36 healthy SD rats, divided into two groups according to simple random method, 18 rats each group. The constructed rat lung neoplasm model induced by pulmonary injection of BaP (10 mg/ml of BaP solution in 0.2 ml corn oil), contrast group use 0.2 ml corn oil, lung tissue was collected and the EGFR expression of lung tissue was detected by immunofluorescence assay and Western blot. T analysis was used to test the different of EGFR between two groups.@*Results@#Immunofluorescence analysis showed that the EGFR expression in BTC was significantly higher than 16HBE cell. Meanwhile, Western blot also was used to confirmed this result, the relative expression of EGFR protein in the rats of the model group the control group were 1.04±0.13 and 2.32±0.12, respectively, and the difference was statistically significance (t=12.39, P<0.001). In vivo, well-defined tumor was found in the rat with pulmonary injection of BaP, and the lung showed diffuse alveolar septal thickening, alveolar wall destruction and pulmonary alveoli fusion, which suggested that the rat lung neoplasm model was constructive successfully. Furthermore, we found the EGFR expression of lung was increased dramatically in the rat lung neoplasm model by immunofluorescence detection and Western blot. The relative expression of EGFR protein in the rats of the model group the control group were 0.21±0.03 and 1.30±0.07, respectively, and the difference was statistically significance (t=12.84, P<0.001).@*Conclusion@#Expression of EGFR protein was increased during BaP carcinogenesis, and EGFR may play an important role in the carcinogenesis of BaP.
