ABSTRACT

Endometriosis is frequently associated with infertility. It is believed that the impairment of endometrial receptivity may be one of the mechanisms involved in this condition. Endometriosis results in infertility by affecting the quality of the embryo and decreasing the endometrium tolerance.Among patients with endometriosis and infertility,a large number of clinical applications found that even if the embryo quality was good, the embryo's planting rate was still low, however, in the case of good endometrial receptivity, abnormal embryos have possible bed success. This paper mainly reviews the endometrium receptivity in patients with endometriosis and the correlation between the regulation factors of endometrial receptivity and infertility, with a view to improving the clinical pregnancy rate.

ABSTRACT

The embryo quality and endometrial receptivity is the two important factors that affects human implantation. Many patients with infertility caused by the disorder of endometrial receptivity fails in embryo implantation. Improving the receptivity of endometrium to improve clinical pregnancy rate has become a hot issue of research in recent years. In this paper, the current use of drugs and surgery on the measures to improve the receptivity of endometrium was summarized, in order to provide references for improving the success rate of assisted reproductive technology.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUNDNucleophosmin plays a critical role in embryonic development. This study aimed to examine the expression pattern of nucleophosmin in glandular epithelium of human endometrium during the menstrual cycle.

METHODSEndometrial tissues used for this study were obtained from 46 non-pregnant patients who underwent hysterectomy which had been performed to treat benign diseases. Nucleophosmin expression was assessed by in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry.

RESULTSAt the early-, mid- and late-proliferative phase, nucleophosmin mRNA was highly expressed in glandular epithelium of human endometrium. At the secretory phase, the expression of nucleophosmin mRNA was reduced in glandular epithelium in early-secretory phase, and the expression in mid- and late-secretory phases was not detected. Similarly, nucleophosmin protein was strongly expressed in endometrial glands throughout the proliferative phase, but was gradually reduced during secretory phase.

CONCLUSIONNucleophosmin mRNA and protein are expressed in glandular epithelium of human endometrium throughout the menstrual cycle.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of panaxynol (PAN) on delayed type hypersensitivity and possible mechanism.

METHODAllergic contact dermatitis (ACD) was induced by DNCB as a delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH) model to observe effect of PAN on auricle inflammation including pathological injury. Proliferation of T lymphocytes was induced by ConA and measured by MTf method. IFN-gamma secretion of splenocyte induced by ConA was detected by ELISA.

RESULTThe swelling degree of auricle and pathological injury in ACD mice was reduced significantly by treated with PAN in induction phase. Proliferation of T lymphocytes induced by ConA in vitro was inhibited significantly by PAN, By contrast, no detectable effect was observed in resting splenocyte. IFN-y induced by ConA in splenocytes was inhibited markedly by PAN from 10 micromol x L(-1) and from 6 h.

CONCLUSIONThe results showed that DTH was inhibited by PAN mainly in induction phase and this effect may be related with the inhibition on T lymphocytes proliferation and secretion of IFN-gamma.
