ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate factors related to bloodstream infections in patients with catheter-associated urinary tract infections(CAUTI)aged over 80 years. Methods:Clinical data of patients with CAUTI aged 80 years in our hospital from August 2014 to September 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.Independent and relevant factors for bloodstream infections in patients were analyzed by using univariate and multivariate methods with SPSS20.0 statistical software. Results:There were 138 patients with bloodstream infections, giving an infection rate of 9.28%.Univariate and multivariate analysis showed that the timing of catheterization(delayed or no extubation after infection), urinary tract operation, glucocorticoid use, tumor chemotherapy, serum albumin concentration reduction, blood glucose and multi-drug resistant bacterial infection were independent risk factors for bloodstream infections in patients with CAUTI aged over 80 years. Conclusions:Early extubation, blood glucose control, correction of hypoproteinemia, reduction of multi-drug resistant bacterial infection, rational use of glucocorticoids and tumor chemotherapy, and heightened attention to patients undergoing urinary tract surgery can reduce the risk of bloodstream infections in patients with CAUTI aged over 80 years.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the changes of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-αafter cholecystectomy. Methods 46 cases with cholecystolithiasis were selected and divided into 2 groups.23 in control group were treated with open cholecystectomy, experimental group were treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The levels of IL-6, TNF-α, IL-10 and CD4 +/CD8 +T were compared in the two groups pre-and post-treatment.ResuIts Compared with pre-treatment, two groups of patients with IL-10, TNF-α, IL-6 and CD4 +T and CD4 +/CD8 +T increased (P<0.05), compared with control group, experimental group IL-10, TNF-α, IL-6, CD4 +/CD8 +T levels were higher (P<0.05).ConcIusion Laparoscopic cholecystectomy can significantly reduce the IL-6, TNF-αand IL-10 levels, reduce the body′s stress response to surgery, and reduce blood flow, shorten the operation time.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the combination of lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxiltreatment in HBeAg positive patients with inappropriate timing of decompensated hepatitis B cirrhosis. Methods Make a retrospective analysis of HBeAg positive patients with decompensated hepatitis B cirrhosis of the liver our hospital in 2014 January ~2015 January were,100 cases of initial treatment, 50 patients given lamivudine plus adefovir dipivoxil resistance as control group,50 cases patients given lamivudine plus adefovir dipivoxil combined as the observation group, compared two groups of clinical curative effect of treatment. Results Observation group after treatment in patients with HBeAgseroconversion rate of 26.00% was significantly higher than that in control group 4.00% (P<0.05);after 12 weeks of treatment in the observation group (9.63 ±1.42), 24 weeks(8.57 ±1.45), 48 weeks(7.43 ±1.57) Child-Pugh grading score was significantly lower than the control group(9.74 ±1.21),(9.45 ±1.33)(8.57 ±1.04)(P <0.05); level of HBV-DNA after treatment in the observation group (2.23 ±1.25) was significantly lower than that of the control group(5.18 ± 1.63), and the Patients in the observation group (2.23 ±1.25)HBV-DNA load in serum was significantly lower than that before treatment(6.47 ± 1.55)(P<0.05).Conclusion patients with decompensated hepatitis B cirrhosis with combination of lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxil treatment, the clinical efficacy is more significant, HBeAg seroconversion rate is increased , the score of Child-Pugh become low and improve liver reserve function, reduce HBV-DNA load in serum.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the molecular mechanism of activator protein (AP)-1 and macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-1? in adjuvant arthritis and the effects of sodium arsenite (SA) on AP-1 and MIP-1. Methods Forty Wistar female rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal control (NC), model (M), low concentration sodium arsenite (SA1) and high concentration sodium arsenite group (SA2). The SA1 group and the SA2 group were treated with sodium arsenite (0.5 mg?kg-1?d-1 and 1.0 mg?kg-1?d-1) through abdominal cavity injection for 20 days, the normal control group and the model group were treated with saline (0.2 ml/d). The levels of C reactive protein (CRP) in every group were determined by biochemistry, the C-fos and MIP-1? expression of synovium in 4 groups were determined by immunohistochemistry. Results The levels of CRP in the M group were increased more than NC group (P
