ABSTRACT

Objective This study investigated the relation with the location of infarction and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP),left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) for first acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.Methods From January 2014 to December 2016,163 consecutive patients with ASTEMI who admitted to our hospital were enrolled in this study,were divided by infarction position.All the patients were classified into wide anterior infarction group,anterior infarction group,anterior septal infarction group and inferior infarction group.The BNP level and the LVEF were measured for 163 consecutive patients respectively on admission and after six-month follow-up visit and record the adverse cardiovascular events,comparing their relations.Results The BNP level of wide anterior infarction group were all significantly higher than all the other groups on admission and after six-month follow-up visit,but the LVEF were significantly lower than all the other groups (P < 0.05).The BNP level of anterior infarction group were significantly higher than anterior septal infarction group and inferior infarction group on admission and after six-month follow-up visit,but the LVEF were significantly lower than anterior septal infarction group and inferior infarction group (P < 0.05).The BNP level of anterior septal infarction group were higher than inferior infarction group on admission and after six-month follow-up visit,but the LVEF were lower than inferior infarction group (P < 0.05).Meanwhile,the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events of the wide anterior infarction group,anterior infarction group,anterior septal infarction group were all larger than inferior infarction group,and the wide anterior infarction group was the largest.Conclusion There is a close relationship with infarction position,BNP and LVEF.The location of infarction,BNP level and LVEF counld all be recognized as the important predicted indicator of adverse cardiovascular events,premature complication and prognosis.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study the clinical effects of curettage under hysteroscopy combined with estrogen and progesterone in preventing intrauterine adhesion after missed abortion.METHODS:A total of 120 patients receiving missed abortion selected from gynecology department of our hospital during Jun.2014-Jun.2016 were randomly divided into observation group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases) according to seguential coding.Observation group was given estradiol valerate 3 mg,qd,for 5 d in total,received curettage under hysteroscope,and was given Estradiol valerate tablet/Estmdiol valerate cyproterone tablet one tablet,qd after surgery,for 21 d.Control group received routine curettage and didn't take estrogen and progesterone during the perioperative period.The time of vaginal bleeding,endometrial thickness 14 d after surgery,the amout of vaginal bleeding with in 3 months after surgery,intrauterine adhesion,the occurrence of ADR were observed in 2 groups.RESULTS:In observation group,57 cases completed the study except that 2 cases withdrew from the study due to the amount of vaginal bleeding as much as menstrual volume and 1 case withdrew from the study due to pregnancy tissue self-discharge.The duration of postoperative vaginal bleeding was (3.2 ±1.1) d in observation group and (5.4 ± 1.9) d in control group.The endometrial thickness of observation group was (8.04 ± 1.52)mm and that of control group was (5.27 ± 2.36) mm;the incidence of intrauterine adhesion was 3.5% in observation group (2/57)and 15% in control group (9/60).Above indexes of observation group were better than those of control group (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Curettage under hysteroscope combined with estrogen and progesterone helps to reduce post-curettage vaginal bleeding,promote endometrial repair and prevent intrauterine adhesion so as to protect women's reproductive ability.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND:In terms of the histocompatibility, immune rejection and scar formation after repair, acel ular nerve al ograft is closer to autologous nerve cel s. At present, hyaluronic acid has been applied for autologous peripheral nerve repair;however, research on the nerve al ograft is rarely reported. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of hyaluronic acid on the anastomotic scar in acel ular nerve al ograft repair of rat sciatic nerve defect. METHODS:Thirty-six Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups (n=12 per group). The rat model of nerve defect of 10 mm was established by cutting the sciatic nerve of the left hind leg and then given nerve al ograft combined with the injection of hyaluronic acid at anastomosis (experimental group), only nerve al ograft (control group) and autologous nerve graft (nerve autograft group), respectively. Afterwards, the healing of the proximal anastomosis was observed and scar components were assessed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Gross observations showed that the rat skin and muscle fascia had no significant differences in healing among groups, while the surrounding tissue adhesion in the experimental group was milder than that in the control group (P0.05). These findings indicate that in the peripheral nerve repair, hyaluronic acid abrogates the scar formation by increasing the deposition of col agen type III and reducing the deposition of col agen type I.

ABSTRACT

To investigate the N-glycosylation characteristics of recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) produced by an industrial Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line that is currently used in a large scale manufacturing process, we cultured this cell strain in static mode. The produced rhEPO in the culture supernatant was analyzed using isoelectric focusing (IEF) and Ricinus communis agglutinin-I (RCA-I) lectin precipitation. The lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and sialidase activity in the serum-free supernatant were assayed as well. The analyses revealed that this cell strain could produce rhEPO with high sialic acid content, but during prolonged culture, cell viability decreased with time whilst the activity of sialidase present in the supernatant increased. The loss in rhEPO quality was due to a decrease in terminal sialic acid on the N-glycans, caused by sialidase degradation. The methods and findings in this paper serve as basis for further investigation of industrial production process.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the expression and clinical meaning of tight junctions protein regulator PKC θ in human meningioma tissue.Method The expression of PKC θ in 30 non-invasion and 30 invasion meningioma tissue is tested by using immunohistochemistry S-P method,with the goal of analyzing the relationship between the expression of PKC θ and pathology character.Results The positive rate ofPKC θ in invasion meningioma tissue is obviously lower than in non-invasion meningioma tissue.The difference is significant(P<0.05)Conclusions The lower expression of PKC θ in invasion meningioma tissue pmbably affects occurrence and invasion of the meningioma by ehang4ng the structure and function of TJs.
